Democrat candidates gunning for the presidency in 2020 are dropping like flies.
Every day something new comes out to destroy a campaign.
And one 2020 Democrat is working overtime to hide this career-ending secret.
Democrats spreading lies is nothing new.
But they aren’t usually overt with it, instead preferring to hide their true intentions.
That isn’t the case with Elizabeth Warren, who is currently neck-and-neck with Joe Biden to lead the Democrat field for president.
In her most recent campaign announcement, she has tapped a lobbyist for Planned Parenthood as her Florida State Director.
But just a day before the announcement, Warren released a new anti-lobbyist campaign plan, stating that she will “end lobbying as we know it.”
“The fundamental promise of our democracy is that every voice matters,” Warren’s plan states. “But when lobbyists and big corporations can buy influence from politicians, that promise is broken. The first thing to do to fix it is to end lobbying as we know it.”
Diaz is a registered lobbyist for the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, most recently registering in January of this year.
In joining Warren, she is leaving Planned Parenthood, but she says that she will be promoting the same goals of the pro-abortion organization in her new position.
“I won’t be far from the movement, as I’m humbled and proud to announce my transition as the Florida State Director for Warren for President, assuring that we will continue to fight like hell to elect a brilliant leader who will work to protect the health, safety and future of ALL people,” Diaz wrote, the Miami Herald reported. “2020 is not for the rich or selfish, 2020 is for us.”
By hiring Diaz, Warren is essentially admitting that she only cares about ending lobbying she doesn’t agree with.
Warren has a 100% positive rating with Planned Parenthood’s political arm and has received tens of thousands of dollars in donations from the organization.
So Warren, with this hire, is sending a message to her left-wing pals that lobby for their issues that she won’t touch them.
But instead, she will focus on the sort of lobbying she disagrees with, which is advocacy for conservative positions.
Warren is taking a lot of flak for her new hire.
But it isn’t all that she is facing criticism for.
Following a recent rally in New York City, her campaign bragged about a massive crowd of 20,000 people.
Her plan was to compete with President Donald Trump, who is bringing in tens of thousands of people at every campaign rally.
But the New York City Parks Department exposed that as a lie, pointing out that the park her event was in could only fit 10,000 people.
This came after Warren previously lied about bringing out 12,000 at an event where the media estimates 4,000 to 6,000.
Only time will tell if these lies will bring down her campaign.
But at this point, she is a top tier contender and could very likely be the candidate to take on Trump in 2020.
Do you think Elizabeth Warren can beat President Trump in 2020?
