Democrats fought to stop Kash Patel’s confirmation as FBI Director.
The left failed.
And now Kash Patel liberals cry with this daring move.
As West wing daily reports:
The “Russia gate” scandal was complete nonsense, but it turned out to be an enormous gift to Donald Trump as it confirmed many of the things he was saying about his political opponents.
Trump has always said that the left and the media treat him unfairly, and in the case of the Russiagate scandal, they quite literally treated him unfairly.
Whatever else might be said about Trump, he is certainly not a Russian agent, and the accusations were baseless.
That was ultimately proven when the Mueller report came up empty and did not demonstrate any collusion with Russia.
And separate revelations showed that key FBI agents had bones to pick with Trump and were hardly neutral.
Now Kash Patel is trying to get to the bottom of this as the new head of the FBI.
He is releasing documents showing what really happened during this investigation, and the liberals who make up the majority of the media won’t be happy about it.
According to PJ Media, “The truth about the FBI’s discredited Crossfire Hurricane investigation is finally coming to light. FBI Director Kash Patel has just released nearly 700 pages of previously classified documents, exposing the inner workings of one of the biggest abuses of power in FBI history.
“The documents, compiled under the ‘Crossfire Hurricane Redacted Binder’ dated April 9, 2025, were declassified following President Trump’s March executive order demanding transparency on the FBI’s investigation into the bogus Trump-Russia collusion narrative.”
The documents show that one of the “trusted sources” that the FBI was using in the case was someone who they knew was coming up with bogus claims against Trump.
Stefan Halper, a supposed FBI informant, was the source of many of the salacious and false claims, and yet the FBI kept him around.
The article continues, “Halper, a Pentagon consultant who received over $1.1 million from the FBI between 1991 and 2017, was behind one of the most egregious claims used to justify the investigation. He alleged that then-Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn had left a 2014 event alone with Russian British academic Svetlana Lokhova while serving as DIA head.”
“Despite the fact that they knew he was unreliable, the FBI still treated him as a trusted source.”
Once again, regardless of what anyone thinks of Flynn, and he’s certainly said and done a lot of highly questionable things, the claim that was made about him was false.
The FBI should not be using false claims to bolster an investigation against the leader of one of America’s two major political parties.
It’s clear that the entire investigation against Trump was biased and that key members of the FBI wanted to see Trump taken down one way or another.
The most powerful agencies in the federal government should not be weaponized to help either political party, and Kash Patel is trying to get things straightened out.
