The SAVE Act is the centerpiece of President Trump’s legislative agenda.
But Trump is facing internal sabotage.
And the SAVE Act is at risk because of this Mitch McConnell dirty trick.

This bill would mandate proof of citizenship to register to vote, require voter ID, and terminate mail-in-balloting except for excused absenteeism.
Republican passed the bill through the House of Representatives on a 218-213 vote.
But the SAVE Act is languishing in the Senate.
Congressman Tim Burchett (R-TN) explained that’s because Mitch McConnell chairs the powerful Senate Rules Committee.
And Burchett McConnell – or McConnell’s handlers are killing the bill behind the scenes.
“He’s blocking the SAVE Act, or is he? Is it him or a staff member, because as you know, he’s a lot like Joe Biden was in his last few days in office, or last year’s in office,” Burchett declared. “His cognizant level is diminishing daily.”
Burchett compared the 84-year-old McConnell to the feeble-minded Biden because of a recent episode that shows McConnell may be suffering from cognitive decline.
Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) is one of the SAVE Act’s champions, and she blasted McConnell for scheming to snuff out broadly popular legislation.
“Excuse me, sir @SenMcConnell, over 84% of Americans and 95% of Republicans want voter ID. Why do you completely disregard the will of the people who voted for you?” Luna wrote on X.
Conservatives wondered why McConnell would oppose common-sense legislation like the SAVE Act.
When McConnell first arrived in the Senate, he supported voter ID laws and called out Democratic election fraud.
Federalist co-founder Sean Davis explained that McConnell wants to sabotage the 2026 and 2028 elections so Democrats win Congress, and J.D. Vance loses the Presidential contest.
That way, Davis went on to argue, the McConnell wing of the party can seize back control of the GOP from the Trump movement and return the party to the days of Mitt Romney and John McCain when the GOP establishment could support amnesty, globalist so-called “free trade bills” and forever wars in the Middle East.
“McConnell wants Trump, Vance, and MAGA to lose in 2026 and 2028, so McConnell and his corporatist friends can take back control of the GOP and use it to make money for themselves and their friends,” Davis stated.
