Donald and Melania Trump keep most of the details about their marriage out of the public light.
But recent events caused Trump to open up.
And Trump thanked Melania for her courage, and what he revealed about her state of mind is moving.
As Great American Digest reports:
Police arrested Cole Allen for attempting to storm the ballroom hosting the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner while armed with guns and knives.
Allen allegedly opened for a stuck an officer in a bulletproof vest before law enforcement stopped his rampage before he could reach the room where President Trump sat at the dais.
Video footage showed the President and the First Lady enjoying dinner when gunfire rang out.
Secret Service then charged the dais and hustled the President, the First Lady, Vice President J.D. Vance, and members of the cabinet out of the ballroom while the assembled journalists and their guests hid under their tables for safety.
CBS’s Annmarie Hordern later posted on social media that Allen confessed to police that his goal was to shoot Trump administration officials.
President Trump addressed reporters after the incident and thanked the First Lady, noting how “traumatic” this whole event was for her.
“I want to thank the First Lady. That was a rather traumatic experience for her. There was a lot of action taking place up there very quickly, but again, the response time was really incredible,” Trump stated.
Melania Trump wasn’t with President Trump for the first two attempts on his life.
In an interview with Fox & Friends, Melania recounted how she found out a leftist assassin shot her husband in the head during a July 2024 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“I ran to the TV and I [rewound] it and I watched it,” Trump told co-host Ainsley Earhardt.
Trump recalled the confusion she felt when she first saw the footage of her husband being shot.
“I didn’t really see [it] live, but maybe, you know, three minutes, a few minutes later. But when I saw it, I, you know, it was only… Nobody really knew yet. Because when you see him on the floor, and you don’t know, you don’t know what really happened,” Trump added.
Two months later, another left-wing would-be assassin tried to murder her husband at one of his golf courses in Florida.
The First Lady was in New York at the time and found out about the news on television.
“I saw it on the television, and as soon as I saw it on television, I called again, and he was OK because Secret Service was great,” Trump said to Earhardt. “The guys that they were, the team, they were fantastic. And I think both of the events, they were really miracles. If you really think about it, July 13th was a miracle. How… like that much, and he could, you know, he could not be with us.”
This time, Melania Trump was sitting right next to her husband when another deranged leftist, Allen, donated $25 through ActBlue in 2024 that was earmarked for Kamala Harris’ Presidential campaign, staged an act of violence.
