Trump has been working overtime to stop the deep state from destroying his presidency.
In doing so, he has fired multiple officials who clearly were working against him.
And one more could be on the chopping block, but it wouldn’t be Trump firing him this time.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has found himself consistently in trouble. Despite trying to stay under the radar after being appointed by Trump last year, Rosenstein has found himself in the spotlight for multiple reasons.
The only problem is that the reason Rosenstein has been in the media is due to his corruption. First, he was exposed for refusing to turn over documents related to the Russia collusion investigation, as well as Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.
It is for this reason that Rep. Mark Meadows of North Carolina has officially filed articles of impeachment against Rosenstein. Along with Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, Meadows released the following statement:
“The impeachment articles come as evidence continues to mount regarding the Department of Justice’s problematic decision making during the 2016 campaign and conduct surrounding the transition to President Trump’s administration in 2017.”
So along with hiding documents, it seems that Rosenstein was central to scandals during the 2016 election and beyond.
It was Rosenstein who called for Robert Mueller to assemble a special counsel to investigate Trump during the 2016 election. He did so with very shoddy evidence and has stood by the claims he has made despite many being debunked.
He made the call to assemble the special counsel after reviewing the information included in the FBI’s FISA warrant to spy on Trump campaign officials.
That FISA warrant was obtained using shoddy information provided by former British Spy Christopher Steele who was being funded by the Democrats.
The dossier used to obtain the FISA warrant has been debunked and was paid for by Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
Despite it being debunked, it was still considered a credible enough document to obtain a spy warrant on President Trump’s campaign.
So Hillary Clinton and the Democrats were able to get their revenge on President Trump. The dossier they funded ended up leading towards the Russia investigation that has influenced political headlines for over a year.
Mueller’s Russia investigation has made President Trump’s nearly two years in office extremely difficult. It has even blocked Trump from being able to invite Russian President Vladimir Putin to the White House until at least 2019.
Trump is simply trying to participate in good-faith diplomacy. But Robert Mueller, who was ultimately empowered by Rod Rosenstein, is trying as hard as he can to stop him.
Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has truly proven himself as one of the most corrupt officials in Washington D.C.
His refusal to turn over documents relevant to both the Russia and Hillary Clinton investigation is proof of that. That is clear proof that Meadows is right to go after Rosenstein.
Do you think that Rod Rosenstein should be impeached?
