A criminal investigation just blew up in the Democrats’ faces.
The outcome is the left’s worst nightmare.
And this jury’s verdict handed Democrats the devastating news they feared the most.
Democrats and the corporate media celebrated a D.C. jury stacked with Hillary Clinton donors acquitting Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann on charges he lied to the FBI during a 2016 meeting where Sussmann peddled a conspiracy theory about Donald Trump colluding with the Russians.
But while Democrats and the media falsely claimed a partisan jury acquitting a fellow Democrat meant the original Russia investigation was above board, Donald Trump told Fox News the not guilty verdict meant he was more likely to run for president in 2024 in order to finish rooting out corruption in Washington, D.C.
“If anything, it makes me want to fight even harder,” Trump told Fox News Digital.
Trump tied the trial verdict into the multitude of failures by the Biden administration.
“If we don’t win, our country is ruined,” Trump added. “We have bad borders, bad elections, and a court system not functioning properly.
“Our country is being systematically destroyed,” Trump continued.
Trump harped on the reality that multiple investigations showed how the FBI spied on his presidential campaign and how if the roles were reversed every Republican involved would be in jail.
“They spied on my campaign. They got caught. If a Republican would have done that, and the obvious steps forward, it would be a virtual death penalty,” Trump stated.
The FBI deployed undercover operative Stefan Halper to spy on Trump’s campaign and gather intelligence.
And the FBI used the hoax Christopher Steele dossier to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on ex-Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
The warrant was retroactive to Page’s time on the campaign giving the Deep State access to emails and texts from the time Page worked for Trump.
Trump told Fox that despite the fact that America is still suffering from the fallout from the Russian collusion hoax and the investigation completely compromised his ability to deal with Russia.
“This was totally illegal. What they did was treason, and it also put our country in a lot of danger with Russia,” Trump stated.
Trump also blasted Hillary Clinton over disclosures during the trial that Clinton gave her personal stamp of approval to leak lies about Trump colluding with Russia to the media.
“She should be ashamed of herself,” Trump said in his interview with Fox News.
“I think she should be ashamed of herself, and she lost the election. She should be ashamed of herself and so should [Adam] Schiff and all these corrupt politicians,” Trump concluded.
