The radical left is trying to change language in order to make it more “gender inclusive.”
A Democrat went even further and decided to change his own name.
He made himself look unbelievably stupid with this one word.
Speaking at a pro-abortion rally on Sunday, Pennsylvania Democrat Senate candidate John Fetterman declared himself “FetterWoman.”
And this wasn’t an off-the-cuff remark. Fetterman held up a pink shirt with the label “FetterWoman” for the crowd and after the speech the design went up for sale on Fetterman’s campaign website.
“My name is John FetterWoman!” he said as the crowd cheered.
Fetterman went on to tell the crowd that if elected to the Senate he would work to pass federal law to Roe v. Wade in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision which sent the issue back to be handled on state level.
“Women are the reason we can win. Let me say that again: Women are the reason we win.” Fetterman told the crowd.
“Don’t piss women off,” he added.
He then tried to portray his opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz, as extremely pro-life.
“This decision: should [it] be made up to Dr. Oz? Or to a woman and a real doctor, to choose?” Fetterman asked the crowd.
“Oz believes abortion is murder… No exceptions: rape or incest… If every abortion is a murder, that means Dr. Oz considers every woman who had to choose abortion is a killer,” Fetterman added.
Oz’s campaign responded that the candidate does “support exceptions to abortion bans in cases of rape, incest and to save the life of the mother,” according to The Hill.
Yet the position that Fetterman holds on abortion is in reality far more extreme. He believes that abortion should be allowed without any exceptions right until the moment of birth.
“I believe that choice is between a woman, her doctor, and a God if she prays to one,” he said. “As a man and a politician, I don’t have a right to intervene.” Fetterman said in an interview with CNN earlier this year.
“Are there any limits on abortion you would find appropriate?” a moderator asked him.
“I don’t believe so, no,” he responded. “I believe that that is between a woman and her physician, and it’s certainly not between me and any politician.”
Fetterman believes that fully viable babies who are moments away from birth should be able to be legally killed by their mother.
Former Virginia Governor Ralph Northam explained what Democrats would like to happen if a woman in labor desired an abortion.
“If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”
