The Democrats know the way they are trying to remake America is deeply unpopular.
But that hasn’t stopped their plans.
A top Democrat revealed a radical plan for the police that Nancy Pelosi wanted to hide.
Major American cities have seen a huge spike in crime following Democratic police reforms that hamper police from being able to do their job.
Democrat Rep. Ayanna Pressley wants to go even further and put forward a plan that essentially defunds the police.
Last month Pressley put forward a bill that would stop Congress from funding police officers in schools.
“Instead of subsidizing more police officers, we need to help schools hire more counselors, more nurses, more mental health practitioners, and our bill will do just that,” Pressley said Thursday.
Pressley is so unwise that she would like to keep police from being trained.
CNN’s Don Lemon tried to give Pressley a chance to state a different opinion when she talked to CNN on Wednesday.
“Listen, I don’t want to put words in your mouth or mischaracterize what you support. So, you don’t support defunding the police. You support what you’re saying right now.Is defunding the police not part of something that you support?” Lemon asked.
“Don, what I support and why I put forward bills like my Counseling Not Criminalization Act is that instead of our spending $1 billion over the last two decades to have 46,000 school police officers when every child does not have equitable access to a school nurse, a social worker or a guidance counselor, some of those ratios are one counselor for every 2,000 students,” Pressley responded.
“So, yes, I support a radical reimagining of community safety and public safety, which means reallocating and not further investing in a carceral state especially when we have not yet ended qualified immunity. So, you know, that needs to be the priority is, police accountability,” she added.
Democrats know that defunding the police is a subject that hurts them with voters and will harm them in the 2022 midterms if they continue to push it.
After the last election Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) said that Democrats should never say “defund the police” or use the word “socialism” in a press conference with Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
She warned that if Democrats repeat these leftist tactics in future elections, “We will get f—— torn apart.”
It’s clear that defunding the police isn’t even popular among Democrat voters.

The problem is that the Biden administration has been allowing radicals like Pressley to set their agenda.
