If Adam Schiff’s nose grew longer every time he told a lie about impeachment, his nose would be longer than a football field.
He isn’t even subtle in the way that he twists the truth.
It’s been that way since the beginning of impeachment.
Adam Schiff started off the proceedings by reading a fictional version of the phone call between Trump and the Ukrainian President without informing Congress that it was a piece of satire.
He also lied about his contact with the whistleblower before the whistleblower filed a report.
It was illegal for Adam Schiff and the whistleblower to plot together before he filed the report through the proper channels.
Now Adam Schiff is claiming that he doesn’t know who the whistleblower is.
According to the Daily Wire:
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) made a highly suspect claim about the CIA whistleblower on Wednesday during House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry hearing. Schiff asserted that he did not know the identity of the whistleblower.
“You are the only member [of Congress] who knows who that individual is and your staff is the only staff of any member of Congress that has had that chance to talk with that individual,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said to Schiff. “We would like opportunity. When might that happen in this proceeding today?”
“That’s a false statement, I do not know the identity of the whistleblower,” Schiff responded.
Schiff’s claim is questionable given numerous past statements that he has made, news reports, and fact-checks on his past statements.
On September 17, Schiff told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”: “We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower. We would like to.”
A Washington Post fact-check awarded Schiff’s claim with “Four Pinocchios,” the worst possible rating that any claim can be awarded — suggesting that the statement is a blatant lie.
“This is flat-out false,” The Post wrote. “Schiff simply says the committee had not spoken to the whistleblower. Now we know that’s not true.”
What makes Adam Schiff’s statement all the more ridiculous is the fact that the whistleblower’s identity has been publicly available for the last two weeks.
Adam Schiff could find out who the whistleblower is with a simple search.
But the Democrats are working hard to keep the whistleblower out of the impeachment trial because they are not interested in facts, and the whistleblower would undermine their case against Trump.
The Democrats want the American public to trust them with impeachment, but why should the American public trust them when they are clearly twisting the facts and lying left and right?
