Adam Schiff and his co-conspirators in the impeachment coup against Donald Trump were left speechless.
They thought one witness would provide the smoking gun that would seal President Trump’s fate once and for all.
But then Adam Schiff got hit with a rude awakening that left him a nervous wreck.
Schiff and his allies in the fake and corrupt news media billed Ukrainian Ambassador Bill Taylor as the unassailable witness that provided “devastating” testimony that proved Donald Trump engaged in a corrupt quid pro quo with Ukraine over holding up military aid in exchange for an investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden.
The fake and corrupt news media claimed that because Taylor served in Vietnam, he could not be questioned on any front.
So-called “journalists” adopted that bluster because they knew the truth – Taylor’s testimony looked devastating for the President as long as no one looked too closely.
That’s why Adam Schiff and the Democrats fought for so long to keep the transcripts of witness testimony secret.
But eventually the Democrats were forced to make the record public and that is when their charade collapsed.
Under questioning from New York Congressman Lee Zeldin, Taylor’s story crumbled.
First Zeldin asked Taylor if the goal of requesting investigations into Burisma and Hunter Biden was to influence the 2020 election.
Taylor denied that was the case.
Ambassador Taylor went on to admit that his source of knowledge for the President’s intentions of quid pro quo was a New York Times article.
“As I understand it from one of the — maybe the article in The New York Times about Mr. Giuliani’s interest in Burisma, in that article, he describes, and I think he quotes Giuliani at some length, that article indicates Giuliani was interested in getting some information on Vice President Biden that would be useful to Mr. Giuliani’s client. I think that’s what he says. He says he’s got one client and he’s useful to the client,” Taylor testified.
Zeldin then pressed Taylor if he ever spoke to the President about this matter.
Taylor admitted he never spoke to President Trump.
Congressman Zeldin grilled Taylor about his opening statement where Taylor described conversations Schiff and allies in the fake news media were the “evidence” President pressured Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden.
With one question, Zeldin exposed Taylor as repeating nothing more than fourth hand gossip.
“But if I understand this correctly, you’re telling us that Tim Morrison told you that Ambassador Sondland told him that the President told Ambassador Sondland that Zelensky would have to open an investigation into Biden?” Zeldin asked Taylor.
“That’s correct,” Taylor was forced to admit.
Taylor’s paper thin testimony showed why Schiff and the Democrats held depositions in secret and depended on selective leaks to the fake news media to set their narrative.
The full picture of Taylor’s testimony revealed Taylor was nothing more than a whiny bureaucrat that presented rumor and innuendo as truth and fact.
