If Adam Schiff has his way, President Trump will be removed from office and thrown in prison.
He is running a secret court to try to achieve that sick goal.
But he was left speechless when the last person expected ended his career.
If there’s anybody who knows about corruption, it’s Ken Starr, who is the former Whitewater independent counsel.
He knows how to run an actual investigation of national importance.
And he had a few choice words for Adam Schiff, who is hoping to take out President Trump with his behind closed-doors impeachment inquiry.
Starr points out that the way Schiff is operating his investigation will not be looked upon in a positive light in the history books.
According to Starr, Schiff is going completely away from tradition in his coup attempt against President Trump.
Starr does admit that Schiff doesn’t appear to be violating any laws, stating that the Constitution only entrusts impeachment to “good judgment, whether it’s being exercised or not, to the House of Representatives.”
But Starr does go on to say that even if it is technically legal the way he is leading the investigation, it will be very difficult for Schiff to justify his behavior.
“History will, I think, judge this not well,” Starr states. “It should judge this not well. [You] didn’t have a full debate on the floor of the House — and that just lends itself, then, to, ‘well, let’s go to court and have this litigated.’ And of course, the chairman then says, ‘you go to court, you’re in contempt.’”
Starr also blasts Schiff over statements he has made essentially declaring Trump guilty.
Despite him claiming he is running an investigation, he has already made clear that he believes Trump is already guilty, placing serious bias on his investigation that is already closed to the public.
“For the chairman [Schiff] to, today, essentially declare guilt, I think, again, is another procedural irregularity,” Starr declared. “He should try his best… to give the appearance of fairness and open-mindedness. He’s already declared — I mean, we heard him — he’s declared the president substantively guilty, as well as procedurally guilty.”
Having somebody who actually knows how to run an investigation go after Schiff in the way he did sends a strong message.
Schiff’s entire investigation is nothing but a coup attempt to take down Trump.
There’s a reason Schiff is working so hard to prevent the impeachment proceedings towards moving to an actual courtroom.
He prefers having it in his own committee, because he gets to make the rules.
In a courtroom there is order, and rules that must be followed.
Schiff’s secret “court” doesn’t need to have any rules, and nothing that happens in it is known to the public, besides what Schiff selectively wants the public to know.
But the mainstream media is entirely on his side, and against anybody who simply wants a little bit of transparency.
Do you think Adam Schiff’s impeachment court should be shut down?
