Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez believes her brand of radical socialism is the future of the Democrat Party.
She has aspirations far beyond serving in the House of Representatives.
And she just got news about a career change that you won’t believe.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her “squad” of socialists in the House have become a major force in the Democrat Party.
Despite only having four members in their unofficial group, they have a massive platform.
The media fawns over Ocasio-Cortez and her friends, including Ilhan Omar.
No matter what they say, the media is willing to go to bat for them.
Even when Ocasio-Cortez’s comments about immigration detention centers being “concentration camps” were mirrored in the manifesto of an Antifa extremist who attempted to firebomb an ICE facility, they stayed silent.
Many outlets didn’t even talk about the attack and the ones who did conveniently left out Ocasio-Cortez’s link.
She gets a pass for her radical socialism, which gives her the ability to grow her national profile.
And she just used her influence to support Sen. Bernie Sanders in his Presidential campaign.
She even spoke alongside him at a recent campaign event.
Following that campaign event, CBS This Morning spoke to both Ocasio-Cortez and Sanders.
The interviewer questioned whether Ocasio-Cortez would consider being Sanders’ Vice Presidential pick, to which she responded stating she’s “too young for that.”
So as a follow-up the interviewer asked her if she would work in a Sanders administration.
Before she could answer, Sanders said “yes, you would.”
Ocasio-Cortez affirmed his statement by saying, “Well, I know, I guess I know you’ll ask.”
Having Ocasio-Cortez in his administration is a scary concept for any conservative American.
It will be especially troubling if her position has anything to do with foreign policy.
While Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t have a long history of anti-Semitic comments like her close allies Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, she does support the same anti-Israel policies.
Ocasio-Cortez is a strong supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
She is one of a very small number of Representatives to sign on to a bill filed by Omar to support the explicitly anti-Israel movement.
BDS calls for companies and others to boycott the state of Israel, and remove any investments for Israeli companies.
The goal of the movement is to weaken the state of Israel, which is troubling considering the constant threats they face from Palestinian terrorists.
But that’s the point, especially with some of the founders of BDS directly opposing there being any Jewish state.
While this may be a terrifying concept, it is extremely unlikely to happen.
In fact, Ocasio-Cortez’s endorsement may be nothing more than a crutch for Sanders.
Following her endorsement, Joe Biden soared in the polls, putting Sanders nearly 20 points behind Biden, who holds a strong 34 percent in the polls, next to his closest competitor, Elizabeth Warren, who has 18 percent.
So Ocasio-Cortez clearly doesn’t have the type of support she may believe she has.
Do you think Bernie Sanders should drop out of the race?
