Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is known for her unhinged and extreme rhetoric.
But this time Ocasio-Cortez crossed a line and innocent lives are on the line.
And that’s because Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said eight words that will leave you speechless.
Democrats reacted with rage to the Supreme Court’s five to four decision allowing a Texas law to go into effect that allowed private individuals to file civil lawsuits against abortion mills if abortionists terminate the lives of unborn babies after six weeks.
Democrats aren’t just worried about the Texas law.
The left’s terrified the court will curtail – or end entirely – the practice of abortion on demand when it hears arguments on Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban this coming term.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was one of the leftists losing their minds over the possibility of the Supreme Court standing up for innocent life and putting a stop to the horror of abortion.
Ocasio-Cortez ranted on Twitter about “Christian extremists” that wanted to protect the lives of unborn babies by passing pro-life legislation.
That was bad enough.
But Ocasio-Cortez linked to a website that sold abortion pills that kill unborn babies and wrote that “Pills can be mailed to your home discreetly.”
“Christian extremists are passing forced birth laws to intimidate & cut off abortion services – including for victims of rape, incest, & child abuse. While we fight back, know you still have options. Pills can be mailed to your home discreetly,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on social media.
Many Americans believe the true extremism in the abortion debate is the fact that Democrats now go even further than their past radical support for abortion on demand up until the moment of birth.
Democrats even oppose legislation to protect the lives of babies that survive abortion procedures.
Virginia’s Democrat Governor Ralph Northam outraged millions when he expressed support for terminating the life of a born-alive baby by saying it would be made comfortable before abortionists talked the mother into ending its life.
Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi opposed legislation to end the barbaric practice.
Joe Bidden and his allies believe they can change the conversation from the myriad crises besieging the administration – led by the disaster in Afghanistan – by working with their pro-abortion allies that dominate the corporate media to attack Republicans as anti-women for supporting legislation to protect the lives of the unborn.
But that terrain may not benefit Democrats as much as they think.
A Gallup poll found just 32 percent of Americans support abortion on demand up until the moment of birth.
This debate forces Democrats to explain their support for unfettered abortion even after babies are born alive.
This did not work to Hillary Clinton’s advantage in 2016 when Donald Trump made her extremist position on abortion a key issue in the final presidential debate.
In the aftermath of that exchange, Americans that made the Supreme Court their number one issue broke for Trump 56 to 41 percent.
Trump exposing Hillary Clinton’s abortion radicalism pushed Trump over the finish line in that closely fought election.
Democrats itching for a fight over abortion on demand may be walking into a trap.
