Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine is not going as planned.
That’s leading to fears Putin will give an unthinkable order.

Putin expected his army to roll through Ukraine and conquer the country in a matter of days.
But poor planning, an overrated military, and fierce resistance from Ukrainian forces bogged Russian forces down in quagmire.
Ukrainian fighters beat back Russian forces attempting to take control of the capital city of Kyiv as Russian suffered one of the most humiliating military defeats in history.
Putin then regrouped his forces for a massive offensive in Eastern Ukraine to take full control of territories that declared themselves breakaway republics.
Just days into the war, Putin ordered his nuclear forces – the largest in the world – to special combat ready status.
That order sparked fears about the Russian military doctrine of escalating to de-escalate.
Russia owns a much lower threshold to using nuclear weapons.
If Russia believes it is losing a war Russian military strategy calls for deploying a nuclear weapon and potentially killing millions in an effort to show they are willing to cross the lines the other side isn’t to force everyone to the negotiating table.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told CNN that the world must be prepared for Russia to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine if Putin believes he is on the verge of defeat.
“Not only me — all of the world, all of the countries have to be worried because it can be not real information, but it can be truth,” Zelensky stated.
Zelensky added that other weapons of mass destruction such as chemical weapons were on the table for Putin to use because Putin does not value human life.
“Chemical weapons, they should do it, they could do it, for them the life of the people, nothing. That’s why,” Zelensky said. “We should think not be afraid, not be afraid but be ready. But that is not a question for Ukraine, not only for Ukraine but for all the world, I think,” Zelensky added.
American officials agree with Zelensky.
CIA Director William Burns told an audience at Georgia Tech that there is a chance Putin could deploy tactical nuclear weapons in an effort to turn the battle in his favor.
“Given the potential desperation of President Putin and the Russian leadership, given the setbacks that they’ve faced so far militarily, none of us can take lightly the threat posed by a potential resort to tactical nuclear weapons or low yield nuclear weapons,” Burns declared.
Tactical nuclear weapons have a lower yield and are intended for battlefield use where they will kill thousands as opposed to strategic nuclear weapons that target cities and will kill millions.
The very real threat of Putin escalating to use nuclear weapons is why Joe Biden’s cognitive impairment is so dangerous in this situation.
Biden can no longer control what he says and every time Biden commits gaffes about attacking Russia with chemical weapons, sending U.S. troops to Ukraine, or calling for regime change in Russia it could lead to Putin thinking he is cornered and that using nuclear weapons is his only way out of the mess Putin made by ordering his evil invasion of Ukraine.
