Donald Trump was grinning from ear to ear.
Democrats were furious.
And this undercover video sting extracted the shocking confession Trump was waiting for.
Project Veritas scored again.
The undercover investigative journalist group published a bombshell video of New York Times reporter Matthew Rosenberg undercutting the left’s entire narrative on the Russian collusion hoax as well as what happened on January 6.
On the video, Rosenberg is heard talking about something involving the CIA and NSA and admitting that the “pee tape” – the centerpiece allegation of the Christopher Steele Russian collusion dossier – was a figment of the imagination.
“It involved the CIA and NSA. It involved Trump and involved that ridiculous, like, pee tape, which of course doesn’t exist,” Rosenberg stated.
But it was Rosenberg’s comments about January 6 that attracted the most attention.
The media described January 6 as Trump supporters staging a bloody and violent assault on the Capitol that came within inches of overthrowing American democracy.
Rosenberg stated he was there that day on January 6 and was “just having fun” and criticized his colleagues who claimed to be traumatized by Trump supporters milling about the Capitol snapping selfies.
“But like all these colleagues who were in the building, and they’re young and are like, ‘Oh my God, it was so scary.’ I’m like, ‘F— off,’” Rosenberg began.
Rosenberg also admitted none of the reporters were actually in any danger that day.
“It’s not the kind of place I can tell somebody to man up, but I kind of want to be like, ‘Dude, come on. Like, you were not in any danger,’” Rosenberg added.
Project Veritas also caught Rosenberg confessing that the corporate overhyped the events of January 6 from a simple riot to the greatest assault on American democracy since the Civil War.
“The left’s overreaction — the left’s reaction to it in some places was so over the top,” Rosenberg stated. “They were making it too big a deal … that gave the opening for lunatics in the right to be like, ‘Oh, well, nothing happened here. It was just a peaceful bunch of tourists,’ you know, and it’s like, but nobody wants to hear that.”
And finally, Rosenberg confirmed what Tucker Carlson reported as well as what many Trump supporters believed by revealing that the FBI had a ton of undercover informants among the Capitol rioters that day.
“There were a ton of FBI informants amongst the people who attacked the Capitol,” Rosenberg concluded.
Corporate media outlets claim that it’s a conspiracy theory to allege that the FBI placed undercover operatives in the crowd that day.
One of The New York Times’ top reporters confirmed that fact on video tape.
Democrats and the corporate media had an incentive to overhype the events of January 6.
First, it allowed Joe Biden to declare a new domestic war on terror against his political opponents.
The latest Department of Homeland Security terror threat assessment lists as a danger anyone that spreads “misinformation” online to criticize the government.
And second, the economy is in the tank, inflation is rising, the border is out of control, crime is surging, and the world is on fire thanks to Joe Biden’s bungling in foreign policy.
Democrats’ only talking point to scare swing voters into keeping Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer in power this November is manufacturing a false narrative about the GOP being the party of sedition and insurrection.
Now, this latest undercover sting from Project Veritas shows even top corporate media reporters do not believe that to be true.
