The Obama administration spied on the Trump campaign under an operation called “Crossfire Hurricane.”
The FBI obtained FISA warrants to spy on Trump campaign officials during the 2016 election and after the general election in November.
The basis for the FISA warrants was the infamous Steele dossier commissioned by Hillary Clinton herself.
But the origins of the dossier, namely Clinton, were kept secret from the FISA court judge.
The dossier was always suspect, but now a spy expert calls the dossier a “fabrication.”
Nigel West, a British espionage expert, was hired to research all of the claims in the dossier, and he blasted the work by ex-MI6 agent Christopher Steele.
According to a report by Britain’s Sunday Times, West surmised, “[T]here is… a strong possibility that all Steele’s material has been fabricated.”
West goes into detail about all of the things wrong in the dossier.
One mistake was stating there was a Russian consulate in Miami, which is untrue.
Another blatant error in the dossier highlighted how Steele claimed one particular source was an expert in three disparate fields.
According to Steele, this particular source worked as middle management in a Moscow hotel, an expert in cyber warfare, and an expert in money laundering.
West commented, “On the face of it, it looked inherently improbable that this single source was as proclaimed.”
West’s damaging report shows just how baseless the investigation into Trump was.
And according to the Department of Justice Inspector General report compiled by Michael Horowitz, the FBI under the Obama administration made serious errors by abusing the FISA application process.
Attorney General William Barr and DOJ investigator John Durham are looking into whether or not deep state actors engaged in criminal activity during the spy campaign against Trump.
Their findings have yet to be released, but supposedly several top deep state players have lawyered up in response to Durham’s investigation widening.
Barr’s finding could expose just how intricate the Obama-Clinton conspiracy to take out Trump was.
The Democrats have become completely unhinged.
Their Trump Derangement Syndrome has resulted in what feels like an ongoing coup against the President of the United States.
