Bill Clinton’s misconduct leaped back into the headlines.
Former President Clinton’s mistreatment of women is once again under a microscope.
Now this Bill Clinton sex scandal just resurfaced in a way one ever expected.
Bill Clinton’s Past Comes Back to Haunt Him
Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky attracted new scrutiny.
Judge Brett Kavanaugh worked on special prosecutor Kenneth Starr’s team whose report formed the basis for Congress impeaching Bill Clinton.
Liberals are diving into documents from Kavanaugh’s work for Starr in hopes of digging up dirt they can use to block his confirmation.
The National Archives recently released a memo Kavanaugh wrote arguing that Starr’s prosecutors should aggressively question Clinton.
Kavanaugh claimed Clinton’s behavior was indefensible and unless the President resigned or confessed his crimes, Starr’s team should grill him.
“…I am strongly opposed to giving President Clinton any “break” in the questioning regarding the details of the Lewinsky relationship.—unless before his questioning on Monday he either (i) resigns (ii) confesses perjury and issues a public apology to you. I have tried to bend over backwards to be fair to him and think of all reasonable defenses to his pattern of behavior. In the end, I am convinced there are none. The idea of going easy on him at the questioning is abhorrent to me.”
Kavanaugh torched Clinton by detailing the Clinton’s lies and crimes.
He used the President’s pattern of misconduct to justify asking Clinton embarrassing personal questions.
“The President has disgraced his Office, the legal system, and the American people by having sex with a 22-year-old intern and turning her life into shambles – callous and disgusting behavior that somehow gotten lost in the shuffle. He has committed perjury (at least) in the Jones case. He turned the Secret Service upside down. He has required he urgent attention of the courts and the Supreme Court for frivolous privilege claims – all to cover up his oral sex from an intern. He has lied to aides. He has lied to the American people. He tried to disgrace you and this Office with a sustained propaganda campaign that would make Nixon blush.”
Kavanaugh was not finished.
He argued that Starr’s team needed to present a full accounting of Clinton’s “revolting” behavior so Congress could decide if impeachment and removal from office was necessary.
“It may not be our job to impose sanctions on him, but it our job to make his pattern of revolting behavior clear – peace by painful piece – on Monday. I am mindful of the need for respect for the Office of the President. But in my view, given what we know, the interests of the Office of the President would be best served by gathering the full facts regarding the actions of the President so that Congress can decide whether the interests of the Presidency would be best served by having a new President.”
Democrats and anti-trump journalists trumpeted this memo as evidence Kavanaugh was a deranged pornographer.
Republican operative Josh Holmes smacked down this talk.
“The best part about this oppo is the level of lib self-ownership involved. How dare Kavanaugh accurately depict something Bill Clinton actually did and lied about in the oval office with an intern!”
We will keep you up to date on any new developments in Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation process.
