Fox News’s troubles after firing Tucker Carlson keep snowballing.
The facts of what happened do not look good for Fox News Channel.
And the truth about Fox News firing Tucker Carlson is even worse than you think.
Contributing editor at The Spectator, Chadwick Moore, is set to publish a biography of Tucker Carlson on July 18.
But Carlson shared a video of Moore saying that he had information on why Fox News fired Carlson that could not wait for publication.

Moore revealed that sources within Fox News revealed the network fired Carlson as part of the defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems.
Fox News signed off on throwing Carlson overboard to keep Fox Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch from testifying.
“Although Fox felt that they would win the trial with Dominion, they didn’t want Rupert Murdoch to testify. This is what I’m told,” Moore declared. “And as a condition with the settlement, hours before they were supposed to go to trial, they reached this agreement to pull him off the air.”
The judge in the Dominion case hit Fox News with several adverse rulings that limited their ability to defend themselves at trial by preventing Fox News from saying they were reporting on newsworthy claims made by Donald Trump’s lawyers about the 2020 election.
Fox News stood a strong chance of winning the case on appeal, but the damage done from the jury verdict finding Fox News liable for defaming Dominion, Murdoch’s testimony, and the lengthy appeals process meant this fight would drag on for years as Fox News dealt with an onslaught of negative publicity.
Moore explained that while Dominion denied it made Fox News firing Carlson a condition of settling the case, his sources inside Fox News were in a position to know the terms of Carlson’s ouster and insisted Carlson was a casualty of the Dominion lawsuit.
“Dominion has denied this, but this is what sources have told me at Fox, that they are sure is the reason,” Moore continued.
Moore revealed that the “multiple sources” were “people who are very, very close to the situation and who would know, and who I have no reason to believe that they are lying.”
Fox News never gave a reason as to why it parted ways with Carlson.
Over the years Fox News faced multiple advertiser boycotts and Fox refused to take talent off the air reasoning that if it gave in to liberal pressure campaigns it would be open season on the network.
And if Fox News did fire Carlson to bring an end to the Dominion case that is not a fact that Fox News would want to advertise.
