Things are not going well for Robert Mueller.
His investigation is crumbling with every day that goes by.
And he just got a massive bombshell that will destroy his entire investigation.
Mueller Is Desperate
Robert Mueller is still considered a hero in the anti-Trump resistance.
They have so little to attack Trump on that Mueller is seen as their Hail Mary.
For the past nearly two years he has been trying to prove that Trump colluded with the Russians to win in 2016.
If he is right, he proves that the 2016 election was a fluke.
But if he’s wrong, he wasted the past two years of his life.
And he will also never be able to recover his reputation.
So he’s desperate.
For months he has been following an unofficial DOJ policy keeping him out of the public eye.
That policy is to not take major actions on political investigations within 60 days of an election.
Mueller hasn’t made any major moves for some time.
He has been quietly interviewing a number of individuals of interest.
Most notable of those are Michael Cohen, Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, and Steve Bannon.
But he is also interviewing a number of lesser-known people.
Mueller Witness Backfires
One of them is a radio host named Randy Credico.
Credico is close to Stone and is believed to have evidence he is connected to WikiLeaks.
To save himself, Credico is claiming it is Stone who has connections to WikiLeaks.
He is trying to get Stone indicted by giving information to Mueller.
But Stone is a step ahead of Credico and has evidence dispelling his claims.
Stone’s lawyers are releasing text messages showing that it is Credico who initiated conversations about WikiLeaks.
And he gives information that appears to show advanced knowledge of their activities.
“Julian Assange has kryptonite on Hillary,” Credico sent to Stone in August of 2016.
This is prior to the releases of hacked Hillary Clinton emails.
Assange is the founder of WikiLeaks, making it seem as though Credico has contact with him.
“You are not going to drag my name into this are you,” Credico later sent, making it clear he doesn’t want his connection known.
It appears Stone didn’t bring his name up.
But instead, Credico was trying to sell Stone out to Mueller.
Mueller May Be Able To Indict Credico
These messages appear to show that Credico perjured himself.
He has been telling Mueller he didn’t have contact with WikiLeaks.
And he has been trying to pin the information he has on Stone.
So these messages are great for Stone.
It proves he is innocent of the allegations against him.
Receiving cryptic messages from somebody about a future WikiLeaks release isn’t illegal.
Credico never gave him information beyond the fact that the release is bad for Hillary.
This fits with Stone’s telling of events.
Mueller is after him due to tweets made about how WikiLeaks would harm Hillary.
But he clearly only knew that, and nothing more.
Do you think Roger Stone is innocent?
