Every single day, thousands of illegal immigrants are storming the U.S. border.
They are demanding immediate entry, along with all the perks that are given to U.S. citizens.
And the problem was just proven worse than ever imagined after a border patrol agent revealed a jaw-dropping fact that will horrify every American.
This year, the number of illegal immigrants crossing the U.S. border could reach well over one million.
That staggering increase is more than the U.S. has seen in decades.
Last month alone brought in ten times more illegal immigrants than the same month in Obama’s last year in office.
This is because between the economy in the U.S. drastically improving, and problems in Central American countries getting worse by the day, the U.S. is being seen as the go-to place for work.
Drug cartels are taking advantage of this rush, offering their services to smuggle people across the border.
And because of the number of people now flooding across, U.S. border patrol for the first time is publicly admitting that they can’t effectively do their job anymore without major changes.
One Border Patrol agent candidly told Fox News that they have “lost control of the border.”
U.S. Border Patrol Agent Hector Garza, in his role as vice-president of the National Border Patrol Council, told Fox News, “We’ve lost control of the border, as we are right now.”
Garza then goes on to explain horrifying facts about just how bad the border is.
“Our Border Patrol chief has mentioned that over 50 percent of our agents are not securing the border and they’re now actually processing, transporting, and carrying for some of these asylum seekers,” Garza explained. “But I would challenge that percentage. I would put that percentage somewhere in the range of 75 percent.”
So if he’s correct, currently only 25 percent of Border Patrol agents are actually working on the border to stop those coming across illegally.
This is allowing more and more people to slip through without opposition.
Human smugglers are taking advantage of this, and purposefully adding to the congestion.
When they send people across the border, they generally have them accompany a child.
That is so when they get across the border, authorities are limited in what they can do to detain that person, as the policy of separating children from the person they cross with is no longer in place.
While many of these children are crossing with their parents, some are crossing with unrelated adults simply using them to help get past authorities if caught.
And some of those children are being trafficked into a life of sex slavery, only to have border authorities help their captures at a time where they could intervene and save them.
Unless major changes are made on border policy, things are not going to improve.
President Trump is working overtime to ensure that the border does get secured, with a wall being his top priority.
Having a wall will make a major obstacle for those trying to cross into the U.S and provide a lot of support for Border Patrol.
Do you agree with Trump’s plan to build a wall on the border?
