Brett Kavanaugh was supposed to be the conservative justice that tipped the Supreme Court to the right.
But Donald Trump got some bad news.
And that’s because Brett Kavanaugh just betrayed Donald Trump in the most terrible way ever.
Donald Trump and conservatives went to the mat for Brett Kavanaugh.
Christine Blasey Ford tried to derail Kavanaugh’s confirmation by leveling hoax charges that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a party the two attended in high school.
The charges were obviously bogus and collapsed when a female friend Blasey Ford claimed could corroborate her charges told the FBI she could not confirm Blasey Ford’s account.
But since the Senate confirmed him, Kavanaugh’s spent more time trying to hand down rulings that appeased the left in order to win back the “respect” of the liberals that inhabit the establishment social circles that Kavanaugh lives and travels in.
The latest example of Kavanaugh sucking up to the left came when Kavanaugh and center-left Chief Justice John Roberts joined the court’s three liberals to uphold Joe Biden’s tyrannical and authoritarian federal vaccine mandate for health care facilities that accept Medicare and Medicaid money.
In an unsigned opinion Chief Justice Roberts, Kavanaugh and Justices Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and Stephen Breyer absurdly argued the Biden administration could mandate the vaccine based on the risk factor involved in health care facilities.
“The rule thus fits neatly within the language of the statute. After all, ensuring that providers take steps to avoid transmitting a dangerous virus to their patients is consistent with the fundamental principle of the medical profession: first, do no harm,” the justices wrote. “It would be the very opposite … for a facility that is supposed to make people well to make them sick with COVID–19,” the majority said, noting that in many facilities without a vaccine mandate, “35 percent or more of staff remain unvaccinated.”
In an epic dissent, conservative Justice Clarence Thomas dismantled this absurd argument correctly pointing out that the only question in front of the court was if the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services possessed the constitutional authority to impose a vaccine mandate.
“These cases are not about the efficacy or importance of COVID–19 vaccines. They are only about whether CMS has the statutory authority to force healthcare workers, by coercing their employers, to undergo a medical procedure they do not want and cannot undo,” Thomas declared.
Thomas later pointed out that if Congress wanted to authorize a federal vaccine mandate the elected representatives would have drafted and passed such legislation.
Conservatives were furious at Kavanaugh’s betrayal after the right fought so hard to confirm Kavanaugh in the face of the left’s smear campaign.
“Kavanaugh’s selection earns a facepalm for the Trump administration. You would think after leftists smeared his reputation with false rape allegations he wouldn’t give them the time of day. Thank the Turtle in charge of the Senate for his nomination,” former Fox News producer Kyle Becker wrote.
“Given Kavanaugh’s sell out of medical workers today many will revisit fighting so hard to protect him from leftist wolves willing to lie to take him down. Roberts is an establishment hack so no surprise there,” radio host Bill Spadea posted on Twitter.
“I despise Brett Kavanaugh. We should have left him for the wolves. Freaking loser,” conservative radio host and frequent Tucker Carlson guest Jesse Kelly wrote on social media.
