William Barr has some bad news for Democrats.
It involves one of the ugliest crimes Americans have ever seen.
And now police want to question this British royal family member about a Bill Clinton scandal.
Bill Clinton and British royal family member Prince Andrew were two of the high-profile individuals connected to late accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Even though Epstein allegedly killed himself in his Manhattan jail cell last summer, there are still lingering questions about allegations made that Prince Andrew was involved in sexual misconduct with underage girls that partied with Epstein.
Virginia Roberts claimed Prince Andrew had sex with her when she was 17 back in 2001.
Now Attorney General William Barr confirmed that the Justice Department would like to question Prince Andrew about evidence that may exist in this case.
“I don’t think it’s a question of handing him over,” Attorney General Barr told Fox News’ “Special Report” anchor Bret Baier. “I think it’s just a question of having him provide some evidence, but beyond that, I’m not going to comment.”
When Epstein allegedly killed himself last July – and many people still doubt this story and believe Epstein was murdered – concerned citizens thought Epstein’s accomplices or other high-profile, rich and famous individuals that shared Epstein’s depraved sexual appetites would get off scot-free.
Epstein’s attorneys have said their client is not a target of the investigation.
“Importantly, the DOJ advised us that the Duke is not and has never been a ‘target’ of their criminal investigations into Epstein and that they sought his confidential, voluntary co-operation,” lawyers at Blackfords LLP told Fox News.
Prince Andrew’s attorneys also disputed the idea that their client resisted cooperating in the investigations.
“Far from our client acting above the law, as has been implied by press briefings in the US, he is being treated by a lower standard than might reasonably be expected for any other citizen,” the lawyers added. “Further, those same breaches of confidentiality by the DOJ have given the global media – and, therefore, the worldwide audience – an entirely misleading account of our discussions with them.”
In addition to the allegations against Prince Andrew, there are many unanswered questions about Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein.
Americans would like to know why Clinton lied about how and when he met Epstein, where he met Epstein and how often he traveled with Epstein.
The public would also insist on answers as to why Clinton flew aboard Epstein’s “Lolita Express” airplane without his Secret Service detail.
Could Prince Andrew provide answers to any questions about Clinton and Epstein?
If the Prince is not a target of the investigation, what do prosecutors want to speak to him about?
From day one, the Epstein case was shrouded in mystery.
No one knew where Epstein made his money and his dealings with the rich and famous remained secret.
But now it looks like the authorities want to get to the bottom of this horrible story.
