The illegal migrant caravan is getting closer to the U.S. border.
President Trump is ready to stop the invaders from crossing the border.
But that just got harder as the caravan gained unheard of numbers just before the midterm elections.
The Caravan Swells In Size
The illegal migrant caravan will be worse than anybody is expecting.
Starting off as a few thousand migrants in one caravan, it is growing quickly.
Not only that, but different caravans are starting up.
So far there are at least four caravans.
And they are all linking up together.
Using buses and trains, they are all meeting up near Mexico City in the next few days.
And once the fourth caravan joins, their total number will be over 12,000.
From there they will march to the border and try to get in.
They claim to be seeking asylum.
But that is something they can already do in Mexico.
After all, they claim to be fleeing the crime and poverty of South America.
While Mexico has its problems, it is a paradise compared to most South American countries.
But they are set on the United States, likely for the welfare programs available to U.S. citizens.
Trump Is Fighting The Caravan
Trump has been making it clear he will stop the caravan.
He recently took to Twitter to make that very clear.
In a tweet, he tells the world that he will not let them in, and explains exactly why.
“Many Gang Members and some very bad people are mixed into the Caravan heading to our Southern Border. Please go back, you will not be admitted into the United States unless you go through the legal process. This is an invasion of our Country and our Military is waiting for you!”
That tweet has been seen by millions and shared tens of thousands of times.
It loudly tells the caravan exactly what they need to know.
And that’s what they need to turn back.
Trump doesn’t mince words.
He says exactly what’s on his mind.
And in this case, it is what America needs.
If Hillary Clinton was in office things would likely be different.
The open borders wing of her party wouldn’t have a hard time convincing her to let them in.
Is The Caravan A Good Reason For The Wall?
Many are pointing to the caravan as the perfect example as to why Trump needs to build the wall.
It is the top promise of his campaign.
And while he is following through on many of his promises, progress on the wall has been slow.
Much of that is to blame on the Democrats and weak-kneed Republicans.
But if Trump is able to gain a larger majority in Congress, building the wall will almost certainly happen soon.
Only time will tell if he can accomplish it or not.
Do you think Trump will finish building the wall?
