Hunter Biden’s laptop scandal is not going away.
In fact, new details keep emerging that raise more disturbing questions about what went on in 2020.
And this top CIA official spoke a mind-blowing truth about Hunter Biden.
30-year veteran of the CIA and former station chief Dan Hoffman revealed in an interview on Fox News Channel that he refused to sign the infamous October 2020 letter declaring Hunter Biden’s laptop Russian disinformation because he never saw any credible evidence to back up the claim.
“I remember I got the letter Oct. 18, 2020, and at first glance, it seemed natural to lay the blame at the Kremlin’s doorstep,” Hoffman stated. “Remember, Vladimir Putin is in the Kremlin and he’s well known for cloak-and-dagger espionage operations. But at the same time, there was no evidence and the letter noted there was no evidence. And I just felt like we needed to do the forensics.”
Former Obama administration acting CIA Director Michael Morell put together the letter — signed by 51 former intelligence community officials — after a phone call with Biden campaign advisor and current Secretary of State Tony Blinken.
Morell testified to Congress that it was his sense that Blinken — and by extension the Biden campaign — wanted the Russian disinformation angle out in the public to blunt the blow of the New York Post’s reporting that the laptop contained evidence of alleged criminal behavior and influence peddling by the Biden family.
Former Hunter Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski told Tucker Carlson that a deal discussed on the laptop with a Chinese energy company allowed the Chinese Communist Party to compromise Joe Biden.
The laptop and its contents were political dynamite but Morell’s letter falsely claiming the laptop was Russian disinformation allowed the corporate media to ignore the story and Big Tech to censor the Post’s reporting.
Hoffman explained to Fox News that in his experience in dealing with Morell when the two were at the CIA, Morell would not make any decisions until he carefully considered and debated the evidence before him.
But there was no such deliberation about the Hunter Biden laptop letter.
“There were many others who — who didn’t sign it. Look, when I was at CIA, we would sit in Michael Morell’s office when we had a particularly difficult, challenging intelligence issue, and we would hash out all the evidence that we have, the intelligence we had and then Michael would draw analytical conclusions with some level of confidence — low, medium, or high — and bring it to the White House,” Hoffman continued. “We didn’t have that debate about this laptop issue. We weren’t invited to debate it.”
Instead, critics allege the Biden campaign leveraged its contacts in the intelligence community to create a dirty trick to suppress the bombshell news about the corruption in the Biden family to influence the outcome of the election.
