CNN could have easily changed their acronym to “Clinton News Network” during the 2016 election.
They were so biased against Trump that they were practically working on Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
And now that she’s out of the picture they are still going after Trump, and in doing so they just said something insane about Robert Mueller.
Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation is no longer about Russia.
It is all about going after President Trump, and anybody close to him.
And there is nobody they have been harsher to than Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
Mueller indicted, and later jailed Manafort for crimes completely unrelated to Trump’s campaign, or to Russia collusion. The only reason he even got targeted was his association with President Trump.
Now Manafort is off to trial, where his fate will be decided.
Knowing that his trial has nothing to do with Trump or Russia collusion, one would imagine that CNN would have a hard time tying the two together. But in reality, they didn’t seem to have any difficulty doing just that.
In their article about Manafort’s trial beginning, CNN began the article with the following line:
“The biggest test of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election begins Tuesday with the trial of Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort.”
The article then goes on to discuss Trump blasting Mueller’s Russia investigation, calling it a “witch hunt.”
Their goal is clearly to tie Robert Mueller, Russia collusion, Paul Manafort, and Donald Trump’s campaign in the mind of the reader. They can’t directly claim that Donald Trump has done anything wrong because there is no evidence, so they are stuck making it sound as bad as possible for Trump instead.
It took then six paragraphs to even mention the charges levied against Manafort, where they were forced to admit that he was not working for Trump at the time.
Manafort’s trial has absolutely nothing to do with Trump. Robert Mueller worked very hard to make sure of that. He doesn’t want Manafort’s position in the Trump campaign to be used as an argument in front of a jury, where it is likely his legal team would allege bias on the part of Mueller.
If Robert Mueller, who is the one targeting Manafort, wants to remove Trump from the arguments around the trial, why is it the only point CNN can talk about?
That is almost certainly because they have nothing on Trump, and are simply looking for circumstantial evidence to make him look bad.
While their arguments aren’t working with the majority of the population, with only around 30 percent of Americans approving of Mueller, it is working with anti-Trump liberals. Those anti-Trump liberals are fully convinced that Trump colluded with Russia so Russia could control the United States.
It doesn’t matter that Trump has defied Russia on numerous occasions; they really want to be able to claim that Trump works for Russia.
Do you think Robert Mueller’s investigation should end immediately?
