CNN is having a bad week.
Their blue wave didn’t happen, despite their best efforts.
And things just got worse after they got caught lying about the horrible thing their employee did.
CNN’s Bad Week
The midterm election may seem like a good thing for Democrats.
They now have the House.
But they lost ground in the Senate.
This is despite cries of a blue wave in the midterm.
CNN is one of the outlets most pushing for that.
But Election Day put those predictions to bed.
The fact that Republicans outperformed what everybody said they would, shows just how well President Trump is doing.
Unemployment is hitting historic lows.
And the economy is improving every day.
If things keep improving, 2020 will be a great year for President Trump.
That’s why CNN is ramping up their anti-Trump rhetoric.
And at the first post-midterm press conference, it reached a new level.
A CNN Employee Does Something Horrible
CNN White House Correspondent Jim Acosta is Trump’s least favorite reporter.
At every opportunity, the president gets into it with him.
That’s because Acosta is very disrespectful to the president.
Instead of asking him questions, Acosta regularly attacks him.
That’s what he did at the first post-midterm press conference.
Asking about the caravan coming to the border, Acosta attacked Trump for calling it an invasion.
Acosta says it isn’t an invasion and asked the president why he would call it such.
Trump responded, telling him that he believes it is.
And then Trump began firing back, letting his feelings for Acosta be well known, saying:
“You should let me run the country. You run CNN.”
At this point, a White House intern went to take the mic from Acosta.
But instead, Acosta put his hands on her and refused to give up the microphone.
That set Trump off into an angry but justified tirade.
“I tell you what: CNN should be ashamed of itself, having you working for them,” Trump said. “You are a rude terrible person.”
Eventually, Acosta gave up the microphone, but it wasn’t the end of it.
CNN’s Acosta Loses White House Press Pass
After the incident, Acosta lost his White House press pass.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced that, making it clear why it was being done.
“We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern,” Sanders said.
In response, Acosta took to CNN to make his side of the story known, saying:
“I didn’t put my hands on her or touch her as they are alleging.”
But video of the incident clearly shows he put his hands on her.
Instead of claiming he didn’t do it intentionally, or that it wasn’t done violently, he lies and says it never happened.
He is arguing against video proof.
And CNN is standing by him in this situation.
Do you think Sarah Sanders did the right thing in pulling his press pass?
