CNN is the greatest ally to the Democrats.
But even they can’t defend them sometimes.
And CNN just dug the Democrat’s grave with a new poll.
In the Trump era, polls don’t always mean too much.
Prior to the 2016 election, virtually every poll showed a major loss for Donald Trump.
The polls were so opposed to Trump that most of the media had already accepted that Hillary Clinton was going to win.
But the election proved that Donald Trump doesn’t fit the mold of a traditional candidate, and therefore the polls don’t account for much of his actual support.
Since then, there have been many other polls relating to elections where Republicans have almost always outperformed during elections.
But a year and a half into Trump’s presidency, many polls are actually starting to favor Republicans.
Donald Trump’s approval rating is actually higher than Obama’s was at the same point in his Presidency.
And coming up to the midterm elections, polls are getting closer to favoring Republicans, destroying the idea pushed by the media that 2018 is going to be a “blue wave.”
The latest CNN poll shows that the support for Democrats is dropping, while Republican support is increasing.
While the poll shows Democrats with a slight edge over Republicans, at forty-seven percent support, Republicans are at forty-four percent, which is an eight point improvement over last month’s numbers.
With the timing, this could have to do with developments around North Korea.
North Korea was the biggest problem that former President Obama said Trump would have to deal with in office.
And in the past few weeks, there have been major developments, with peace talks, and the release of three U.S. prisoners.
This is showing the American people that Donald Trump is capable, despite what the media has said about him.
Democrats are scared, and as they get closer to the upcoming midterms, things could get a lot worse for them.
As reported by The Daily Caller:
“Support for Democrats in the generic congressional ballot for the 2018 elections has dropped down to a three-point advantage over Republicans and within the margin of error, according to a CNN poll released Wednesday.
The poll shows a massive dip in support for Democrats over the past few months. A CNN poll in February showed that Democrats had a 16-point advantage over Republicans and in March CNN released a poll that showed Democrats had a six-point advantage over the GOP, CNN reported.
Forty-seven percent of registered voters in May said they support the Democratic candidate in their district while 44 percent support the Republican candidate, according to the poll.
Enthusiasm among Republican voters has also increased in the last few months. Thirty-six percent of Republican and Republican-leaning registered voters said in March they were very enthusiastic about voting. The May poll shows that number is up to 44 percent.
The numbers come as media pundits and Democrats have been predicting a “blue wave” will sweep Republicans in the 2018 November elections.”
Even CNN’s polls show that Republicans are doing better going into the upcoming midterm elections.
As the days go by, the poll numbers could end up increasing to the point that even CNN will have to admit that Republicans have a good chance in the upcoming elections.
Do you think Republicans will do well in the upcoming midterm elections?
