CNN has declared war on Donald Trump.
The liberal network is trying to take down the President by any means necessary.
And one host crossed the line by using this one word to attack Trump.
CNN’s Brian Stelter is the host of Reliable Sources and the networks media reporter.
Stelter is a left-wing ideologue who is a dedicated critic of conservative media and a stalwart defending of liberal agenda journalism.
Stelter also promoted claims that Melania Trump “disappeared” because the First Lady was not seen in public while recovering from kidney surgery.
The Reliable Sources host also regularly gives airtime to conspiracy theories about Trump being mentally ill and colluding with the Russians.
Trump has used CNN’s obvious liberal bias and vendetta against him to bash the network as “fake news.”
Stelter fired back in a panel of elite journalists at the posh Aspen Ideas Festival.
The CNN host claimed Trump was “poisoning” the American people against the media.
Stelter claimed President Trump was turning Americans against the liberal media whining
“President Trump is poisoning the American people, specifically a subset of the American people that has been infected by the poison,” the CNN host continued ranting “It is getting worse every day and we’re going to reckon with the consequences for decades.”
The CNN host also falsely accused Trump of being weak and that he believed the American people would accept the liberal media’ smearing Trump as the truth and turn against the President stating:
“I don’t mean to be the pessimist. Actually, some days I’m very optimistic,”
“I wake up glass half full a lot of days and I think Trump’s pretty weak right now and we’re gonna get through this and it’s an aberration.”
Stelter concluded by wondering what the liberal media could do to win back the trust of the people
“I think we have to ask ourselves, if this is an emergency, what should you, what should I, what should we be doing differently? If this is a crisis, what should we be doing differently? Will we be proud of ourselves in 20 years? Was this an aberration or is this the start of something new and very troubling and then how are we going to win people back? How are we going to win people back?”
Journalists like Stelter believe the American people are incapable of separating fact from fiction and are being brainwashed by Trump.
But the simple truth of the matter is the public has judged CNN – and the media as a whole – and found them to be propagandists who traffic in fake news to hurt Donald Trump.
A recent NBC/Survey Monkey poll found 72 percent of Americans believe journalists knowingly publish fake news stories.
And given the poor work product by CNN – where the network has had to issue embarrassing corrections to fake news stories such as James Comey disputing the fact that he told Trump three times he was not under investigation, Anthony Scaramucci being under investigation for ties to Russia or Donald Trump, Jr. having advanced knowledge of WikiLeaks releasing hacked emails – it’s hard not to see where the people began to lose trust in the media.
Donald Trump’s presence on the political scene has forced the media to reveal its true colors.
Journalists have ripped off the mask they wear to claim they are nonpartisan truth tellers who just report the facts.
Liberal journalists are so outraged by Trump’s Make America Great Again agenda that they have come out as partisans committed forcing at the duly elected President from office.
Last June, conservative journalist Ben Domenech reported he was on a train where CNN President Jeff Zucker and one of his assistants was traveling in the row behind him.
CNN was furious because Vice President Mike Pence gave an interview to every other network except CNN.
Zucker’s assistant shouted that CNN would go to war with the administration.
Domenech wrote on the Federalist:
“Back in February, I was riding on the New York to DC shuttle and CNN’s own Jeff Zucker was seated in the row behind me with a woman I took to be a colleague or personal assistant. She was yelling loudly into her phone, loudly enough that the other passengers took note of it, at one point escalating her voice to say: “If they want war with CNN, they got it.” When we landed, I noted the likely inspiration for the call: the administration had offered Mike Pence to every network except for CNN.”
Contrary to what Stelter claims, President Trump is not “poisoning” the American people.
The press is not a divine institution protected from criticism by holy decree.
Americans are turning against the media because they are seeing news organizations participate in the political arena by trying to stack the deck against the President.
