Joe Biden received a shattering piece of news from the American people.
His reelection bid isn’t going the way he hoped.
And even CNN couldn’t hide how crushing this voter message is for Joe Biden.
A majority of voters say there is no chance they will vote for President Joe Biden in 2024.
The latest poll from CNN found that 51% of voters nationwide say there is no chance they will vote for Biden. 4% who aren’t currently supporting Biden say there wasn’t even a possibility they would change their minds.
In contrast, 48% of voters said there is no chance they will vote for Trump. The poll also found that 2% of voters who currently aren’t backing Trump would still consider it.
The poll also found Trump is leading Biden 49% to 45% among registered voters, and Trump currently holds a greater favorability rating than Biden at 38% to 36% among poll respondents.
The poll found that Biden has also lost support among many key election demographics.
CNN reported, “Biden’s support in the poll is significantly weaker now among several groups that he previously won by wide margins and were critical to his election in 2020. Among voters younger than 35, 48% support Trump, 47% Biden. Political independents break 45% Trump to 41% Biden. Black voters favor Biden, 73%vs. Trump’s 23%, while Latino voters split 50% Biden to 46% Trump. And among voters of color generally, women divide 63% Biden to 31% Trump, while men split about evenly, 49% Trump to 46% Biden.”
Another recent poll found Trump leading against Biden in five out of six key battleground states.
The New York Times/Siena College poll asked respondents in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin who they would support if the 2024 presidential election was held today.
The poll showed Trump leading by 11% in Nevada, 6% in Georgia, 5% in Arizona, 5% in Michigan, and 4% in Pennsylvania. Biden took Wisconsin by a mere 2%.
“The new NYT poll is bad. There is no sugarcoating it. But instead of panicking or naively un-skewing the poll, we should start doing the work of rebuilding the anti-MAGA majority,” Obama administration alum Dan Pfeiffer said.
“State by state, we are building an unparalleled machine that will bolster President Trump in key battleground states and position him to crush Biden,” the Trump campaign said in early November. “We embrace this exercise and will make the most of it.”
