The fast-moving impeachment is making Democrats and Never Trumpers look worse and worse.
Pursuing impeachment out of partisan hatred is blowing up in the faces of President Trump’s enemies.
And CNN reported this smoking gun just proved Donald Trump innocent in impeachment.
The article of impeachment the House of Representatives passed charged President Trump with inciting insurrection at the Capitol.
Their “evidence” was that President Trump spoke at a rally prior to the January 6 riot at the Capitol where he encouraged his supporters to “fight like hell or you aren’t going to have a country anymore.”
Despite the fact that legal experts such as George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley claimed this was protected speech, the President’s opponents plowed ahead.
But on the day 232 members of the House of Representatives—including 10 RINO sellouts—voted to impeach the President, CNN reported a new set of facts that cast doubt on the entire rationale for impeachment.
In an interview with CNN, former FBI Director James Comey cited rioters having grappling hooks, sledgehammers, ropes and zip ties as evidence the riot may have been preplanned.
“People wandering around exercising First Amendment rights don’t bring ropes and ladders and sledgehammers to a spontaneous event,” Comey told CNN. “This was a planned assault like going after a castle.”
Trump-haters groaned at this news.
And they also could not believe CNN reported facts that contradicted the entire impeachment narrative.
But it wasn’t just James Comey speculating.
On-the-ground investigators also discovered evidence that the riot may have been premeditated by a small group of troublemakers.
CNN reported:
Among the evidence the FBI is examining are indications that some participants at the Trump rally at the Ellipse, outside the White House, left the event early, perhaps to retrieve items to be used in the assault on the Capitol.
A team of investigators and prosecutors are also focused on the command and control aspect of the attack, looking at travel and communications records to determine if they can build a case that is similar to a counterterrorism investigation, the official said.
If anarchists and violent thugs showed up in Washington, D.C. with mayhem on their minds and left the speech early to stage the attack on the Capitol then the case against the President collapses.
President Trump could not incite people to riot who already intended to riot and left before his speech concluded.
This is the second piece of evidence that exonerates the President.
President Trump’s own words prove he never incited a mob to violence.
In his speech, President Trump drew a clear line about how he wanted his supporters to conduct themselves when the President told the crowd to “peacefully and patriotically” protest at the Capitol.
This is now the second sham impeachment Democrats brought against the President.
And it looks like it will crash and burn like the first impeachment hoax.
