After spending years unfairly attacking President Trump, CNN has angered half of the population, who support Trump.
Now they are working to fire back at anybody who has gone after them.
And they just declared war on Sean Hannity, leading it off with a horrible attack.
There is perhaps nobody at CNN who embodies the problem Trump supporters have with the network than their White House correspondent, Jim Acosta.
Acosta regularly attacks Trump, oftentimes shouting questions at inappropriate times, and then when Trump fires back he tries to claim that he’s acting like a dictator.
Jim Acosta also has it out for reporters who fairly cover the president. Sean Hannity is one of those people because he has long been a friend of President Trump.
During his campaign, Trump regularly talked with Sean Hannity and would join him on his show.
Since becoming president, that has continued and the president looks to Sean Hannity as perhaps his most trusted man in media.
But on the other side, Jim Acosta spent the entire campaign attacking, and being attacked back by Trump.
He was hoping that Hillary Clinton would become president, as she would see Acosta as a partisan shill who will fight to go after all of her enemies.
But that didn’t work out, and now Acosta has the job of covering a White House who heavily dislikes him, as his actions have proven that he’s only there to try to harm Trump.
So, perhaps out of jealousy, Acosta went on a Twitter rampage against Hannity, calling him a “propagandist for hire” who lies every night.
Hannity is a propagandist for profit, peddling lies every night. He says he’s just a talk show host, not a journalist. But he’s injecting poison into the nation’s political bloodstream warping public attitudes about the press. I’m confident in the long run the truth will prevail.

His attack comes after a series of shows where Hannity has been highly critical of Acosta.
Following the recent Trump rally in Tampa, Florida, Jim Acosta has been furious at Trump, and the way his supporters have been treating him.
That comes after Acosta was attempting to cover the Trump rally in Tampa only to be deafened by screams of “CNN sucks” being hurled by hundreds of Trump supporters.
And this isn’t the first rally that has happened, this was just perhaps the most rowdy group.
Acosta was upset, but the Trump supporters who were leading the chant almost certainly couldn’t care less.
Jim Acosta is not a fan of Trump, and regularly attacks him.
So when he shows his face at a rally filled with some of the most vocal Trump supporters out there, he can’t expect not to face at least a little backlash.
Sean Hannity was pointing this out, and also questioning why Acosta is so upset that some Trump supporters are making fun of him and his network, when he was much quieter when Trump supporters were being physically assaulted.
Because in reality, the treatment Jim Acosta is facing from Trump supporters is nothing more than criticizing him through chants.
But he has such a thick skin that he can’t stand the fact that anybody would criticize him.
