Judge Brett Kavanaugh and his family went through hell.
All for political power.
But now, one U.S. Senator has connected the dots and his findings have revealed the kingpin behind the effort to smear Brett Kavanaugh.
Powerful Democrat Exposed for Anti-Kavanaugh Tactics
Judge Brett Kavanaugh appeared to have an easy path toward confirmation.
Most Republicans declared their public support for him early.
Then, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford shocked the nation.
Ford accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault from over 30 years ago.
But the real truth about Ford came out in no time.
Many Americans believe she is a Democrat operative.
She wrote a letter to her Democrat Congresswoman.
She hoped it would derail Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
And Sen. Dianne Feinstein found out about this letter.
But she sat on the letter and waited.
She waited until it was politically beneficial to release Ford’s letter.
That’s when all hell broke loose.
But now, one Senator has gone public with information tying in a third Democrat to the Kavanaugh scandal.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) believes Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) started the accusation in the first place.
Talking to radio show host Hugh Hewitt, Cotton said, “I believe the Schumer political operation was behind this from the very beginning.”
“We learned last week that a woman named Monica McLean was Ms. Ford’s roommate, and she was one of the so-called beach friends who encouraged Ms. Ford to go to Dianne Feinstein and the partisan Democrats on the Judiciary Committee,” Cotton started to explain.
“Well, it just turns out, it just so happens that Monica McLean worked for a Preet Bharara, the former U.S. Attorney in Manhattan, now a virulent anti-Trump critic on television and former counsel to Chuck Schumer,” Cotton revealed.
“So, I strongly suspect that Chuck Schumer’s political operation knew about Ms. Ford’s allegations as far back as July and manipulated the process all along to include taking advantage of Ms. Ford’s confidences and directing her towards left-wing lawyers who apparently may have violated the D.C. code of legal ethics and perhaps may face their own investigation by the D.C. Bar,” Cotton concluded.
Did Schumer Hint His Obstruction Prior to Accusations?
Cotton’s evidence makes sense.
After all, Schumer declared he would try to block Trump’s nominee less than 30 minutes after Trump announced his pick.
“I will oppose Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination with everything I have, and I hope a bipartisan majority will do the same,” Schumer tweeted.
“The stakes are simply too high for anything less,” he added.
Chuck Schumer was banking on using the fake Kavanaugh scandal to harm Republicans in the midterm elections.
But poll after poll is indicating those efforts have backfired.
Republicans are more motivated now to vote in the midterm elections than before.
They once trailed Democrats in the enthusiasm gap by 10 points.
New polling proves Republicans are now down by 2 points.
That’s within the margin of error which means it’s a statistical tie.
The Democrats plan to impeach Trump is on life support.
They need to hope for better results if they want to impeach Trump.
Most polling shows the House is within reach.
But the U.S. Senate is a different story.
The map favors Republicans.
Several incumbent Democrats are up for re-election in “Trump” states.
These are states that Trump won in 2016.
But now, some of these seats are out of reach for Democrats.
Which can’t make Chuck Schumer happy.
What do you think?
Did the Democrats ruin their own blue wave?
