Democrats are not going to roll over and die now that Brett Kavanaugh is on the Supreme Court.
The left will not rest until they take down the conservative majority.
And one Democrat Senator let the cat out of the bag on how they plan to take their revenge.
Democrats Move to Impeach Kavanaugh
If Democrats win control of Congress in November they will move to impeach Kavanaugh.
Congressman Jerry Nadler – the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee – did not rule out the possibility.
He told the New York Times:
“It is not something we are eager to do,” Mr. Nadler said in an interview. “But the Senate having failed to do its proper constitutionally mandated job of advise and consent, we are going to have to do something to provide a check and balance, to protect the rule of law and to protect the legitimacy of one of our most important institutions.”
Democrats are trying to hide this from the American people.
They know if voters catch on to their true plans, Republicans will turn out in November to stop them.
But Democrat Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii slipped up.
Hirono’s Interview Shows Democrats will Impeach Kavanaugh
She appeared on ABC’s This Week and did not shoot down the impeachment talk.
Host Jonathan Karl asked her about Democrats’ desire to continue investigating Kavanaugh if they take over the House.
“Jerry Nadler her will do what Jerry Nadler will do. I’m listening to the women who recount the accounts of sexual harassment and sexual assault that I’m focussed like a laser beam on the elections. All these angry people know that these people sitting in the Senate are making these decisions. They’re going to go to the polls and vote differently,” she responded.
Karl pressed her again about impeachment.
“It all starts with the House. I don’t blame you for asking these questions, I know you tried to talk to Kellyanne and it’s hard to get a word in edge wise with her. I’m very focused on the here and now which is all these angry women who saw what was going on and how the Senate was not able to deal fairly with the entire issue of sexual assault. Clearly this idea that Dr. Ford was given all accommodation is really — I have to say —baloney.” She began.
Hirono turned into a controversial figure during the Kavanaugh fight.
She outraged millions of Americans when she responded to a reporter’s question about how the four women on the Judiciary Committee would affect the Kavanaugh vote.
Hirono raged that it’s time for the men of the country to “shut up.”
“Guess who is perpetrating all of these kinds of actions? It’s the men in this country,” Hirono ranted. “I just want to say to the men in this country: Just shut up and step up. Do the right thing, for a change.”
Her actions are part of the reason why Republicans received a polling bounce in the wake of the Kavanaugh fight.
Americans were horrified at the thought of totalitarians like Hirono winning power.
