But Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., disagrees.
While Kennedy still thinks abortion should be legal in the first three months of pregnancy, he is at least reasonable enough to reject late-term abortion.
Here’s what Kennedy said, according to The Hill: “I believe a decision to abort a child should be up to the women during the first three months of life. Once a child is viable, outside the womb, I think then the state has an interest in protecting the child.”
While Kennedy’s views on the first three months of pregnancy go against science, which clearly shows that an infant is a human life from the moment of conception, his views on late-term abortion match the views of most Americans.
But the Democratic Party does not represent most Americans. They represent an extreme agenda that seeks to abort babies who are fully-grown and ready to be delivered into the world.
Now Joe Biden’s allies are cracking down on him for going against the most sacred cow of Democratic politics – Planned Parenthood.
“The questions posed to him by NBC were clear; he wasn’t confused. A transcript has been released,” said Ameshia Cross, a Democratic strategist and commentator. “He was offered ample opportunity to clarify his statements, especially in light of the growing outcry for more access to abortion rights and women’s reproductive health, not less.”
“RFK Jr. has never tried to appeal to Democrats or the party’s primary voters,” Cross added. “His stance on abortion access runs an affront to not only the Democratic Party but the majority of Americans regardless of partisan stripe.”
She is wrong. The vast majority of Americans are against late-term abortion. In fact, the vast majority of pro-choice Americans are against late-term abortion.
Joe Biden knows he has to crack down on his enemies to further his radical abortion agenda, because that agenda has proven to be unpopular.
