Democrats constantly find themselves caught up in scandals.
Last year Democrats lost Sen. Al Franken over sexual misconduct allegations.
And another Democrat’s career is over after allegedly doing something horrible to a child.
The Democrats have a long track record of Democrats falling from grace after horrible scandals come to light.
Most famously, former President Bill Clinton faced impeachment after lying about having sexual contact with a White House intern in the Oval Office.
And that scandal is just the tip of the iceberg for Bill Clinton, who has been facing allegations of sexual misconduct and even allegations of rape for decades.
Just last year, Sen. Al Franken was forced to resign due to a #MeToo era allegation coming to light.
And Democrat mega-donor Harvey Weinstein is facing a historic downfall over multiple cases of sexual misconduct.
There is now a new scandal a Democrat in California is facing right now.
Joaquin Arambula is a Democrat State Assemblyman in California.
He is strongly anti-Trump, listing his opposition on his campaign website, along with a series of pro-illegal immigration issues he supports.
This week he was arrested due to injuries being discovered on his eldest daughter.
The arrest was at her elementary school, located in Fresno, California.
Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said in a statement that “we believe he committed a crime and we intend to hold him accountable for the commission of this crime.”
“The child we interviewed gave a very good statement, a very detailed statement, and we’ve been able to determine that what the child did tell us is factual,” Dyer also claims.
Needless to say, Arambula is denying the allegations against him, claiming it was simple discipline, involving spanking on her buttocks.
But Chief Dyer refutes those claims, stating that the injury is not on her buttocks:
“There was an injury. I can’t get into the details of where (Arambula’s daughter’s) injury was, but it was not on the buttocks.”
The exact details of the injuries are not available due to child privacy laws, but it clearly is enough to warrant an arrest.
Chief Dyer acknowledges the fact he is an elected official and has status in the community.
But he also makes it clear that his status isn’t going to give him any leniency.
This is a welcomed shift from how many investigations into Democrats occur.
In the case of Bill Clinton, none of his accusers have had a real opportunity to make their case in any legal capacity.
Juanita Broaddrick is his most well-known accuser and has published a book detailing her claims.
The book is titled: You’d Better Put Some Ice on That: How I Survived Being Raped by Bill Clinton.
“You’d better put some ice on that,” is what Broaddrick alleges Clinton told her after raping her, referring to her lips, which she says he bit during the rape.
Broaddrick is still hoping to get her day in court against Clinton, ramping up her appearances in response to the #MeToo movement.
Do you believe Juanita Broaddrick?
