The Democrat’s latest strategy to destroy Trump relates around unaccompanied children at the border.
Despite the policy allowing it being in place before Trump, they want to convince America that Trump is separating kids from their parents and throwing them in “concentration camps.”
But one video that was just released destroys that claim, and Democrats don’t want you to see it.
If you listen to the anti-Trump left, President Donald Trump is ripping apart families at the border and throwing the children into “concentration camps.” But the fact of the matter is there is absolutely no truth to those claims made by the left.
As President Donald Trump has stated many times, the policy to allow family separations on the border has been on the books for many years. The only thing President Trump is doing differently is enforcing federal immigration law, which was a major campaign promise of his.
But that doesn’t matter to the left; as they would much rather slander the President.
And slander him they have done. Not only are they making claims that President Donald Trump has implemented policies to separate children from their parents on the border, they are also claiming that those children are being thrown into “concentration camps.” The use of the word “concentration camp” is a clear attempt to liken the President to Adolf Hitler.
But their claims about children being thrown in “concentration camps” are completely untrue. A recent video released of one of these centers holding mostly unaccompanied children found crossing the border illegally was released. The video shows a modern facility that looks more like a well-kept school building than a “concentration camp.”
In the video, you can see necessary amenities like bedrooms, a medical office, and a modern kitchen, as well as additional perks, like sports games. The video clearly shows that the overblown claims mostly made by Democrats are completely unfounded.
Not only are the centers themselves an overblown claim, but the amount of children being held in these facilities are overblown.
Nearly 2,000 children have been separated from their families at the border. But if you read any left-wing news outlet, they are throwing around a 10,000 number, which is the total amount of unaccompanied children being held in border facilities. The vast majority of those children came to the border without their parents, while a small number were accompanied by their parents.
Despite that, the left makes it seem as though the larger 10,000 number includes those separated at the border.
Another fact that seems to be ignored by many is that the parents of the children separated at the border committed a crime. There are many crimes that will result in a child being separated from their parents; illegally entering the United States seems to be a serious enough crime for that to occur.
The government is not holding these children the same they would hold criminals. While the children are being held, they are looking for family members who the children can be sent to.
