Democrats have had a lot of trouble finding ways to harm President Trump.
Because of this, they have been forced to get creative.
And you won’t believe their latest insane plan to attack Trump.
Since the day President Donald Trump was elected, the Democrats found their main line of attack against him, which is Russia.
They spent every day pushing the conspiracy theory that President Trump colluded with Russians to win the presidency.
Any reasonable person realizes that Trump just had a message that resonated with disenfranchised Americans, but Democrats aren’t reasonable.
They spent the next few months pulling together enough circumstantial evidence to allow Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to launch Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.
Since the investigation has been launched, the left has been using it as proof that Trump colluded with Russia, calling him a Russian puppet.
Last week’s press conference with President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin only gave them fuel to throw on their conspiracy.
Now they are looking to do something extremely shady to figure out what happened during the meeting between the two leaders just prior to the press conference.
Democrats know that subpoenaing the president is extremely difficult, and subpoenaing Putin is virtually impossible, so to find out what was said during the meeting they need to get creative.
That’s why they are looking to subpoena the only other person who was at the meeting, President Trump’s interpreter.
Because of the language difference, they needed somebody who spoke both English and Russian to interpret what is being said between the two. It is that reason that subpoenaing the interpreter would give a ton of insight into what happened in the meeting.
The Democrat seeming to lead the charge on this scheme is Rep. Adam Schiff of California, who spoke in favor of the measure on MSNBC earlier this week.
He gave his full support, while making it clear that he never thought he would support doing something like this, but that he feels Trump is “affirmatively working against our own interests as a country.”
That one statement from Schiff proves that Democrats know this move is shady, but that they hate Trump so much it’s okay.
If they felt they had a strong enough case that the meeting was a danger to our nation’s interests, they would try to go after Trump directly.
In reality, they are just looking to get any dirt they can on the president. If Trump so much as said one thing they could take out of context, especially with the language barrier, they will attempt to use it to claim that Trump committed treason.
They have already tried to push that narrative, and it clearly isn’t working. The latest polling from Axios shows that 79 percent of Republicans approve of the meeting, while only 18 percent disagree.
While Democrats are freaking out, Republicans are seeing straight through the outrage.
