Rep. Devin Nunes is one of the deep state’s biggest enemies.
He is unafraid to expose them, especially when it comes to Robert Mueller’s witch hunt.
And he just destroyed Mueller’s life simply by pointing out one fact.
After serving as Trump’s personal attorney for many years, Michael Cohen is refashioning himself as an anti-Trump figure.
Speaking to Congress, Cohen describes his former boss, and friend, as a racist conman.
His change of heart for Trump comes from his sentencing in Robert Mueller’s investigation.
Mueller is targeting Cohen due to his former connection to Trump.
And instead of fighting back, Cohen is caving to Mueller and instead of joining his fight to take down President Trump.
But while his testimony is largely anti-Trump, Cohen had to make a few revealing truths Mueller isn’t going to like.
For one, Cohen admits that he doesn’t have any evidence to back Russia collusion, instead simply saying he suspects it could be true.
Coming from Trump’s former attorney, this casts major doubt on the investigation.
If it occurred, Cohen would be one of the few most likely to have knowledge of it.
Now Nunes, who is the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee is dropping new information about testimony from Cohen.
He claims that during private testimony with his committee, Cohen makes it clear that the infamous and unverified dossier by Christopher Steele is false.
“It was totally debunked this week, and it will be totally debunked next week,” Nunes, told Fox News during a “Sunday Morning Futures” interview.
Cohen has already debunked the most publicized claim in the dossier.
During his public testimony, he denies the existence of a salacious videotape purporting to show Trump engaging in sexual acts in a Russian hotel room.
Another claim in the report is that Cohen visited a Russian official in Prague as a part of a conspiracy to release Hillary Clinton’s stolen emails.
Cohen denies the allegation, stating that, “I’ve never been to Prague…I’ve never been to Czech Republic.”
These two things already make life difficult for Mueller, whose entire investigation was started because of that dossier.
The dossier, created by Fusion GPS, using funding from Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee, is the single most relevant document in the investigation.
It is the document the FBI used to obtain a FISA surveillance warrant against Trump campaign officials.
And from there, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein used it to form Mueller’s special counsel.
Proving the entire thing is a lie will expose Mueller as a complete fraud.
Nunes is claiming he will be doing that in the coming days.
It doesn’t seem it will take much to do it.
The dossier itself is far from credible.
In order to release it to the public, then-FBI Director James Comey had to brief then-President-elect Trump on it.
From there, BuzzFeed and CNN used the meeting to give it credibility it didn’t have on its own.
If proven false, it will give Trump good reason to shut down Mueller’s entire investigation.
