Obama’s deep state is in big trouble.
Since the end of their long-running Russia witch hunt, all their work for the past years has gone to waste.
And they are in even more trouble with Devin Nunes doing one thing that could jail eight Obama officials.
Mueller’s Russia investigation is the greatest witch hunt in American history.
For the past two years, the anti-Trump resistance has been using it to claim that the President is a Russian asset in order to sow division in the American public.
The hope of the investigation is that it would end up removing Trump from office.
But all those hopes went down the drain with the announcement that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
And while the investigation is over, there are many involved who are horrified about the consequences of their involvement.
While it is proven that Trump did nothing wrong, there are many on the left who that isn’t so certain.
In forming Mueller’s special counsel, dozens of shady and possibly illegal things occurred.
And throughout the investigation, Democrats have been caught time and time again selectively leaking information to the media.
Devin Nunes is so sure that wrongdoing occurred that he is announcing eight criminal referrals of Obama administration officials he will submit to the Department of Justice this week.
While he doesn’t name the individuals, he explains that the referrals have to do with a number of offenses, including lying to Congress, misleading Congress, and leaking classified information.
“We believe there is a conspiracy to lie to the FISA [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] court, mislead the FISA court, by numerous individuals that all need to be investigated and looked at,” Nunes explained on Fox News.
Nunes is the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, giving him massive insight into the inter-workings of the Mueller investigation.
He clearly knows something that the rest of America doesn’t yet know, but will shine a light on in coming days.
What is known is that the alleged lies to the FISA court likely relate to the surveillance warrant application into Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
The evidence used in the warrant application is largely disproven, and unverified at the time of its use, with the largest portion of evidence coming from the infamous Christopher Steele dossier, which was funded by Hillary Clinton.
Along with looking into FISA abuses, Nunes is looking into criminal leakers.
“There are about a dozen highly sensitive, classified information leaks that were given to only a few reporters over the last two and a half plus years,” Nunes said.
Nunes believes he knows who is behind the leaks, telling Fox News, “We do believe that we’ve got pretty good information and a pretty good idea of who could be behind these leaks.”
This is the first step towards holding those behind the Russia hoax accountable.
After dividing the country for two years, those responsible are going to begin to come to light thanks to the work of people like Rep. Nunes.
Do you think the people behind the Russia investigation should face investigation?
