Democrats won’t stop their demented attacks on Donald Trump.
But they aren’t getting the reaction they’d hoped for.
Donald Trump is back on Twitter with two words and his mugshot.
Former President Donald Trump has returned to X, formerly known as Twitter.
Posting a photo of his mugshot – taken just hours earlier in Fulton County, Georgia – Trump made quite the debut in his return to the platform.
“ELECTION INTERFERENCE,” Trump wrote on Twitter on Thursday, “NEVER SURRENDER!”
This is the fourth time this year charges have been filed against Trump. The Georgia case accuses Trump and 18 co-defendants of forming a criminal conspiracy to overturn Biden’s win in the swing state.
Trump also included a link to a donation page that had a “personal note” from Trump.
“Today, I walked into the lion’s den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA,” the message reads.
“If you are doing poorly due to the sinister people in control of our country right now, don’t even think about donating!”
“But if you can, please make a contribution to evict Crooked Joe Biden from the White House and SAVE AMERICA during this dark chapter in our nation’s history.”
Trump also told reporters after being released on bond in Fulton County on Thursday night that his arrest was “a very sad day for America that should never happen.”
Trump told reporters at the airport that he has the right to “challenge an election.”
“I thought the election was a rigged election, a stolen election,” he said. “And I should have every right to do that.”
“What has taken place here is a travesty of justice, we did nothing wrong, I did nothing wrong,” he said. “And everybody knows that I’ve never had such support.”
Trump said all four criminal cases against him are total examples of “election interference.”
“So I want to thank you for being here. We did nothing wrong at all,” he said. “And we have every right, every single right to challenge an election that we think is dishonest. We think it’s very dishonest. So thank you all very much and I’ll see you very soon. Thank you very much.”
