The leftist media have absolutely abandoned even the basics of journalistic integrity.
But now even they can’t deny the truth any longer.

CBS News has finally admitted that the contents of Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop are authentic and it only took two years.
On November 21, CBS News aired a segment “confirming” that it “independently verified” the contents of Hunter’s computer.
“Two years after anyone with a functional brain realized the Hunter Biden laptop was 100% real @CBSNews has finally gotten around to reporting the Hunter Biden laptop is 100% real,” Outkick founder Clay Travis tweeted.
CBS’s Lesley Stahl claimed in a 2020 “60 Minutes” interview with former President Donald Trump that the laptop couldn’t be verified.
During the interview, Trump asked Stahl why CBS wouldn’t investigate Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter’s business deals.
Stahl blamed Trump for “making this one of the hottest, most important issues.”
Trump responded that it was important “to find out whether or not a man is corrupt who’s running for president.”
Stahl claimed in return that “all these things have been investigated and discredited.”
If CBS did investigate and discredit it, why are they confirming the contents of the laptop now, two years later?
“I think it’s one of the biggest scandals I’ve ever seen and you don’t cover it. You want to talk about –” Trump said before Stahl interjected.
“Well, because it can’t be verified.”
“You want to talk about insignificant things,” Trump continued. “Of course it can be verified. Excuse me, they found a laptop. Lesley, listen.”
“It can’t be verified,” she claimed again.
“What can’t be verified?” Trump asked.
“The laptop.”
“Why do you say that? Even the family hasn’t … the family on the laptop … he’s gone into hiding for five days he’s gone into hiding.”
Stahl said that Biden just needed five days to prep for the presidential debate.
Verifying the emails should have taken less than a day but the leftist media chose to ignore the story instead.
Publicly-funded NPR wrote on Twitter before the election that it was enforcing a blackout because, “We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste the listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions.”
NPR then claimed in April 2021 that the laptop’s contents had been “discredited by U.S. intelligence and independent investigations by news organizations.” Though NPR later admitted U.S. intelligence “has not issued a statement to that effect.”
The Daily Mail, Washington Examiner and many other conservative news networks hired outside forensics experts to verify the laptop.
CBS could have done the same thing but instead they decided to wait two years.
