Bud Light set off a firestorm with its woke marketing campaign.
In short order the beer giant was back-pedaling.
Bud Light waved the white flag of surrender and no one saw what happened next coming.
The Anheuser-Busch company stepped in it big time when it waded into the culture wars by signing a marketing deal with social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Mulvaney is a man who claims he is a woman and conservatives were furious about a woke corporation using its massive platform to promote the transgender lifestyle.
Conservatives quickly organized a boycott.
Country music superstar Travis Tritt announced he would no longer carry Bud Light in his tour hospitality bus and suites.
“I will be deleting all Anheuser-Busch products from my tour hospitality rider,” Tritt posted on Twitter. “I know many other artists who are doing the same.”
After two weeks of conservatives protesting and boycotting Bud Light the Anheuser-Busch company lost five billion dollars in market cap.
That led to Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth tapping out with a statement where Whitworth apologized for dragging the company into the pro-transgender propaganda movement.

But then something strange happened.
The conservative protest of Anheuser-Busch was the first successful activist effort pushing back on woke corporations bombarding Americans with the left’s social agenda.
And yet Donald Trump Jr. went on his Triggered podcast and demanded conservatives stand down in the Bud Light boycott because Anheuser-Busch was a corporate donor to the Republican Party.
“That’s literally unheard of in corporate America, where it’s really easy to go woke, where they do so constantly, where there’s a consequence of actually being a conservative,” Trump Jr. stated. “So 60-40 to the conservative side is kind of a big deal.”
Trump Jr. called for conservatives to give Anheuser-Busch a mulligan.
“So here’s the deal. Anheuser-Busch totally s— the bed with this Dylan Mulvaney thing. I’m not, though, for destroying an American, an iconic company for something like this,” Trump Jr. added.
Trump Jr. said conservatives should stop “dunking” on Anheuser-Busch claiming they “are one of the most conservative-leaning companies in America.”
Conservatives could not understand how Trump Jr. could want to fight woke and left-wing corporations while at the same time calling for a unilateral surrender on an issue where the conservative grassroots finally got the better of woke capital.
