Joe Biden has created the worst foreign policy disaster since the Vietnam War.
And the president couldn’t even respond.
Donald Trump revealed the one question he’d like to ask Joe Biden.
Last month President Joe Biden was asked at a news conference whether there was any comparison between his withdrawal from Afghanistan and the Americans’ shameful retreat from Vietnam in 1975.
Biden responded, “None whatsoever. Zero.
“They’re not remotely comparable in terms of capability,” he said. “There’s going to be no circumstance when you’re going to see people being lifted off the roof of an embassy of the United States from Afghanistan.”
On Sunday, military helicopters were pictured taking off from the U.S. compound in Kabul as the government rushed to evacuate our embassy.
While this was going on, Biden was relaxing at Camp David.
Former President Donald Trump slammed Biden.
“First Joe Biden surrendered to COVID and it has come roaring back,” Trump said in reference to skyrocketing cases due to the Delta variant of COVID-19. “Then he surrendered to the Taliban, who has quickly overtaken Afghanistan and destroyed confidence in American power and influence.
“The outcome in Afghanistan, including the withdrawal, would have been totally different if the Trump Administration had been in charge,” Trump continued. “Who or what will Joe Biden surrender to next? Someone should ask him, if they can find him.”
Biden only returned to the White House on Monday.
“What Joe Biden has done with Afghanistan is legendary,” Trump said yesterday in calling for Biden’s resignation. “It will go down as one of the greatest defeats in American history!” Trump said. “It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen to Afghanistan, along with the tremendous surge in COVID, the Border catastrophe, the destruction of energy independence, and our crippled economy.”
Biden has been widely blasted for the crisis. Even CNN said that the “exit was ineptly planned.”
However, Biden still stands by his choices.
“I stand squarely behind my decision,” the president said. “After 20 years, I’ve learned the hard way, that there was never a good time to withdraw U.S. forces.”
America was in the process of granting visas to the 17,000 translators who worked with the U.S.
Biden claimed the only reason that they didn’t evacuate earlier was “some of the Afghanis did not want to leave early.”
Biden didn’t answer questions.
After the quick speech a public schedule showed that Biden would return to Camp David.
Trump commented after the speech, “It’s not that we left Afghanistan. It’s the grossly incompetent way we left!”
At least seven people were killed at the Kabul Airport as desperate people tried to cling to departing aircraft.
