Democrats have been going to desperate lengths to crush a troubling story.
But they couldn’t hide the truth forever.
Donald Trump said four words that made Joe Biden break into a cold sweat.
President Joe Biden said Wednesday that the U.S. intelligence community does “not believe there is sufficient information” on the origins of Covid to justify the theory that the coronavirus pandemic originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
But Biden’s reluctance to investigate the theory is ignoring the reality of the situation.
From the beginning, it was suspicious that a coronavirus outbreak started right next door to the Wuhan Institute of Virology where Chinese scientists were studying coronavirus.
The Chinese Center for Disease Control admitted a year ago that Covid hadn’t come from the Wuhan wet market and instead claimed that Covid jumped to humans via an “intermediary animal,” while the exact location of the transition is unknown.
But instead of reasonably looking at the data, Democrats wanted to focus on using the pandemic to their political advantage, even if it meant hiding the truth.
Former President Donald Trump said that the source of the virus was “obvious to smart people,” in a released statement on Tuesday.
“Now everybody is agreeing that I was right when I very early on called Wuhan as the source of COVID-19, sometimes referred to as the China Virus,” Trump wrote in the statement.
“To me it was obvious from the beginning but I was badly criticized, as usual. Now they are all saying ‘He was right.’ Thank you!” the statement concluded.
In an interview with Newsmax on Tuesday night, Trump expanded on the subject.
“I think it was obvious to smart people that’s [Wuhan Institute of Virology] where it came from. I had no doubt about it,” he said during the interview.
Trump said during the interview that by April 2020 he had seen evidence that convinced him that Covid came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, adding, however, that he was “not allowed to tell” his source.
“And I think the World Health Organization should be ashamed of themselves because they’re like the public relations agency for China,” Trump said at that press briefing.
The Australian reported earlier this month that the US government had documents in which the Chinese military had discussed weaponizing SARS coronaviruses before the current coronavirus outbreak.
“The document, written by People’s Liberation Army scientists and senior Chinese public health officials in 2015, was obtained by the US State Department as it conducted an investigation into the origins of COVID-19. The paper describes SARS coronaviruses as heralding a ‘new era of genetic weapons’ and says they can be ‘artificially manipulated into an emerging human disease virus, then weaponized and unleashed in a way never seen before.’” The Australian reported.
