President Trump knew he had to step in when he heard what was happening.
He wasn’t about to let fallen heroes be treated this way.
Donald Trump stopped an awful insult against veterans with these five words.
The mainstream media tried to slander President Trump before the election claiming that he called Americans who died in war “losers” and “suckers.”
All of the people around Trump were willing to go on record to refute the lies from anonymous sources.
The President has always supported our brave men and women in uniform, unlike Joe Biden.
An elite British soldier who saved American hostages in Nairobi revealed that Trump took the time to personally thank him.
Chris Craighead wrote, “Last year I had the privilege of meeting with the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. … I’ll leave this with you: The meeting was unplanned and he had nothing to gain from it. When he heard from key figures of the administration that I was in town, he took the time to thank me personally for saving American lives.”
Trump has shown himself pro-military, and willing to give every honor to our brave men and women in uniform.
On Monday, Arlington National Cemetery announced that they weren’t going to be laying wreaths on the graves as is customary.
“Due to the current COVID-19 situation across the nation and within the National Capital Region, it is with great regret that Arlington National Cemetery is canceling Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery and the Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home Cemetery on Dec. 19, 2020.”
This shows the illogical extent that coronavirus regulations are taken to in America.
It isn’t rational to cancel socially distanced outdoor events due to Covid.
Wreaths Across America, the nonprofit which organizes the yearly event, said they “are devastated” and added, “It has been a trying year for all, and we too, want all our volunteers, donors and their communities to remain safe! This is why over the last six months, the team at Wreaths has been working tirelessly with local, state and national officials to ensure that all of our outdoor wreath-placement events are done so safely, following local rules and mandates.”
Laying wreaths can be done in a safe and Covid conscious way. There was no need to cancel the event.
However, when President Trump heard, he personally stepped in.
“I have reversed the ridiculous decision to cancel Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery. It will now go on!” Trump announced on Tuesday.
Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy also wrote, “I have directed Arlington National Cemetery to safely host Wreaths Across America. We appreciate the families and visitors who take time to honor and remember those who are laid to rest at our nation’s most hallowed ground.”
