Donald Trump is mulling a 2024 comeback.
The corporate media thinks Trump is doomed.
But Donald Trump was grinning from ear to ear when he saw the results of this new poll.
Prior to the 2020 election, the corporate media and all the so-called “expert” election forecasters predicted a Joe Biden blowout and claimed Biden would have a Ronald Reagan over Jimmy Carter style landslide win.
But Biden’s margin ended up being a razor-thin 44,000 votes across Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin as the national polls were more incorrect than any election in 40 years.
The state polls were the worst in at least 20 years.
The only pollster that was close to the margin was Rasmussen.
And while the media claims Donald Trump is the most unpopular President ever and Joe Biden is beloved, they are generally citing the same pollsters that blew the 2016 and 2020 election predictions.
But Rasmussen tells a different story, one where Donald Trump is actually more popular than Joe Biden.
Breitbart reported that, “Fifty-one percent of voters have at least a somewhat favorable opinion of Biden compared to 52 percent who have a somewhat favorable opinion of Trump. More people have an unfavorable view of Biden (48 percent) than Trump (46 percent).”
Rasmussen also found that more voters strongly opposed Biden and he lacked strong support from key Democrat voting blocks.
“Comparing voter opinions of Biden and his two predecessors across demographic categories, the current president suffers from more intense disapproval by Republicans, and doesn’t have the kind of strong support from black voters that benefitted Obama,” a memo accompanying the poll read.
“57 percent of black voters have Very Favorable opinion of Obama, only 45 percent of black voters have a Very Favorable of Biden. Perhaps more significantly, the percentage of black voters who have a Very Unfavorable view of Biden (19 percent) is more than twice as large as the number of black voters whose opinion of Obama is Very Unfavorable (9 percent).”
Other legacy polls also show Biden’s support declining.
The most recent Gallup poll showed Joe Biden’s support dropped 9 points from June to July as the inflation, jobs, and border crisis takes their toll on Biden’s political standing.
Contrary to the dominant narrative in the corporate media, Donald Trump came very close to winning a second term.
If Donald Trump decides to run in 2024, Trump will be starting from a much stronger position than many of the “experts” in the corporate media believe.
And that could lead to the media missing the story of the election again.
