Nikki Haley’s presidential ambitions just went up in smoke.
Her entire future has been crushed.
Donald Trump secured a huge victory that’s the death of Nikki Haley.
Former President Donald Trump won the primary in New Hampshire Tuesday night, beating former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.
Trump scored a solid, double-digit lead against Haley with 54% of the vote. Haley received 44%.
The majority of votes Haley received in New Hampshire weren’t even from Republican constituents according to an exit poll. CNN said that “about 7 in 10 said they were registered as undeclared prior to Tuesday.”
With DeSantis already dropping out of the race before the New Hampshire primary, Haley’s 10-point loss has resulted in loud calls from Republicans to drop out of the race.
“Congratulations @realDonaldTrump on your huge #Trump2024 New Hampshire Primary win!” House Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) posted on X. “Nikki Haley must drop out so we can focus on defeating Joe Biden to Save America. The #TrumpTrain isn’t slowing down — President Trump will #SaveAmerica!!”
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) said Trump’s New Hampshire win makes him the de facto GOP nominee. “Congratulations to President Trump on another decisive win in New Hampshire and becoming the presumptive nominee of our party,” he said.
Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) congratulated Trump on his big win Tuesday evening: “To no one’s surprise, @realDonaldTrump won BIG tonight in New Hampshire. President Trump’s message is resonating with voters. It’s only a matter of time until 45 becomes 47. Congratulations, Mr. President!”
CEO of The Federalist, Sean Davis, said if Haley didn’t drop out immediately, it would only prove that she’s “fully owned by the left-wing Democrats.”
“If Nikki Haley’s primary goal is to defeat Joe Biden in November, she will drop out tonight and endorse Trump. If she continues to stay in a race she cannot win just to attack Trump, then we’ll know she’s fully owned by the left-wing Democrats who are funding her campaign,” he said.
However, Haley said the race is “far from over” following her loss Tuesday night.
“What a great night,” she told supporters. “God is so good.”
“Thank you, New Hampshire for the love, the kindness and support, and a great night here tonight. Thank you so much,” she continued, congratulating Trump for his victory.
“They’re falling all over themselves, saying this race is over. Well, I have news for all of them. New Hampshire is first in the nation. It is not the last,” Haley said, emphasizing the race is “far from over.”
“There are dozens of states left to go, and the next one is my sweet state of South Carolina.”
