Tesla CEO Elon Musk became a thorn in the side of the left when Musk announced a plan to purchase Twitter for $44 billion.
Democrats panicked over the loss of the monopoly on their ability to censor conservatives online.
And Elon Musk made a major announcement that had all hell breaking loose.
After Musk announced his intention to purchase Twitter for $54.20 per share and turn the platform into a bastion of free speech Musk began questioning what he was buying.
Musk claimed his research showed 20 percent of the accounts on Twitter were bots when Twitter alleged the number was just five percent.
The latest shockwave through the system was Musk announcing he was pulling out of the deal.
Musk’s attorney Mike Ringler wrote a letter to Twitter claiming the company misled Musk, leading to no longer buying Twitter.
“Twitter has failed or refused to provide this information,” the letter read. “Sometimes Twitter has ignored Mr. Musk’s requests, sometimes it has rejected them for reasons that appear to be unjustified, and sometimes it has claimed to comply while giving Mr. Musk incomplete or unusable information.”
Bloomberg reporter Matt Levine wrote Musk could not back out of the deal due to the fact that Musk signed a binding agreement to purchase the platform.
the reason that elon musk can't get out of the deal over the bots thing is not that he "waived due diligence." it's that he SIGNED A BINDING AGREEMENT TO BUY TWITTER, and that agreement does not have any outs for "i think there are too many bots."

Twitter board chairman Bret Taylor agreed and posted that Twitter would use every legal means at its disposal to force Musk to live up to his purchase agreement.
“The Twitter Board is committed to closing the transaction on the price and terms agreed upon with Mr. Musk and plans to pursue legal action to enforce the merger agreement. We are confident we will prevail in the Delaware Court of Chancery,” Taylor posted.
What terrifies the left about Musk purchasing Twitter is Musk declaring that he would end Twitter’s ideological censorship.
Democrats won the 2020 election in part because Twitter and Facebook helped rig the contest by censoring the New York Post’s truthful story about the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop containing evidence of corruption and potential criminal activity.
A Media Research Center poll conducted after the election found one in six Biden voters would not have supported Biden if they knew about his scandals.
Elon Musk may very well still go through with his deal to buy Twitter.
Musk announcing his intention to pull out of the deal could be a ploy to negotiate a lower purchase price.
And if Musk does buy Twitter and ends the censorship of conservatives it will end one avenue for Democrats to unfairly tilt the election playing field to the Democrats’ advantage.
