Democrats have spent two years inventing conspiracy theories about Donald Trump.
The Party has even gone so far as to try and create scandals to destroy the President’s career.
But all of that just blew up in their face as one scandal threatens to now destroy the party.
A massive false flag scandal surrounding the 2017 Special Election in Alabama is now threating to tear the Democratic Party apart.
The Daily Caller reported, “Billionaire Reid Hoffman’s alleged role behind a misinformation campaign in Alabama could potentially hurt the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) mission to revamp the party infrastructure.”
As the party gears up to take on Donald Trump in 2020, Democrats are increasingly relying on high-tech digital operations to ensure Trump remains a one-term President.
But all of that is now in danger.
“Hoffman’s plans to create a separate voter database and reports linking him to a false flag operation are complicating the issue,” adds the Daily Caller.
Hoffman apparently used several groups aligned with himself to orchestrate a large misinformation campaign during the midterm elections.
He also used his misinformation campaign to attack Republican candidate Roy Moore in the 2017 Special Election for Alabama’s Senate seat.
Operatives connected with [the] tech firm New Knowledge created thousands of Twitter accounts posing as Russian bots to boost the election-year chances of Democratic Sen. Doug Jones, according to the New York Times, which broke the story on December 19th.
Hoffman’s ruse paid off heavily for Democrats in the hotly contested race.
Local, State, and National media flocked to Alabama to cover the alleged Russian interference, and several outlets even falsely suggested that Moore’s campaign was behind the alleged Russian bots.
The conspiracy against Moore, at the direction of Hoffman, was larger than previously thought.
“Former President Barack Obama campaign organizer, Mickey Dickerson, was instrumental in a disinformation campaign targeting Moore, reports show, as was Evan Coren, who has worked for the National Archives unit since Obama’s first term,” reports the Daily Caller.
Hoffman’s scheme also extended to the 2018 midterms.
The emerging scandal related to his false-flag attacks is now backfiring on Democrats in a major way.
The Democratic Party of Nebraska has already announced that it will refuse to provide any data to corporate interests such as Hoffman’s in the future. Other states may follow suit.
Hoffman has apologized for the false-flag attacks, but the damage may already be done.
The scandal has left Democrats scrambling to develop a proper data operation that could be used to take down Trump in 2020, while at the same time mitigate the damage that Hoffman’s ventures did to the world of data analysis and election targeting.
These tools will be critical to any Democratic victory in the future, but their recent misuse and abuse could cripple the party moving forward.
It remains to be seen whether or not Hoffman’s work will draw further condemnation from left-leaning groups, and whether the emerging scandal will impact Democrats’ 2020 chances.
