President Trump has opposition on all sides.
While the left’s hatred is out in the open, he even has people in his government opposing him behind the scenes.
And the FBI was just caught committing treason against him.
In May of 2017, President Trump shocked the world by firing then-FBI Director James Comey.
The left, who had previously been furious at Comey over acknowledging Hillary Clinton’s wrongdoing with her private email server, was an opposition figure to the President.
Despite their past hatred of Comey, he was able to reinvent himself with Trump in the White House.
To do that, Comey was involved in many shady activities.
Comey was the final pin in a series of plays designed to have a salacious anti-Trump dossier released in the media.
The dossier, compiled by former British Spy Christopher Steele, makes outlandish claims about Trump, without any evidence, and was funded by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton.
Because there was no evidence backing it, the media was not able to release it to the public.
But to make it newsworthy, Comey briefed then President-Elect Trump on the dossier.
After the briefing, the dossier was released in the media, first in BuzzFeed News.
So Comey has proven that he is willing to go to any length to go after the President.
Even after being removed from office, he has continued his anti-Trump crusade, donating and actively volunteering for Democrat candidates.
But even with Comey gone, the FBI itself is still stacked against the President.
Around the time of the meeting between Trump and Comey, the FBI had removed the dossier’s author, Christopher Steele as an FBI source.
That is due to Steele’s contact with the media.
While Steele never stopped having influence in the Justice Department, he was not considered an official source.
That was until just days after Comey’s firing on May 15th of 2017.
At that point, the FBI re-initiated contact with Steele.
This was revealed through testimony on behalf of the Department of Justice employee Bruce Ohr.
The transcript of that testimony is below:
Q: “So you have asked him will he re-engage with the FBI?”
Ohr: “Yes.”
Q: “And he says: ‘Talked with my wife; I’m in.’ You say: ‘Thanks. We’ll let them know and we will follow up.’”
Ohr: “Yes.”
Q: “‘Thanks again. I chatted with my colleagues and can give you an update when you have a minute.’ What was the update about? Was it about that subject?”
Ohr: “Yes.”
Q: “So that all happens on May 15?”
Ohr: “Yes.”
This is the FBI directly working with a discredited source, facing harsh scrutiny, even after the firing of the FBI Director.
Steele is currently facing multiple lawsuits, in multiple countries for his role in the dossier.
And making things all the worse is the fact that Ohr is playing such a major role.
Ohr’s own wife Nellie works for the opposition research firm, Fusion GPS, that Steele was working for, to compile the dossier.
Ohr is the contact that Steele has long been relying on in the Justice Department.
This should be raising red flags, showing just how corrupt Steele is.
But instead, the FBI looks to him as a valuable source in their fight to take down President Trump.
